The first time Amul served us and he was the perfect host, guiding us what to eat and chatting amicably. The food was like no other Indian we have visited, as the recipes were family ones which undoubtedly provided unique flavours and were perfect for our need to eat vegan dishes. My parents thoroughly enjoyed their choices with paneer cheese - something they had not tried before. The restaurant was busy on both nights and both Amul and his colleague’s customer service was second to none. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and one we would all wholeheartedly recommend. TheForkUserWe had the pesto bread and tomato drink which personally was not to my liking, others may enjoy it. The steak however was fantastic, full of flavour. My husband had the Herford steak and said it was one of the best steaks he had eaten! (He has eaten a lot of steaks!) The ladies that served us were also very attentive to our needs and found it amusing that my husband finished a meal that was supposed to be for 2! Being rugby fans we also loved the fact that the terrace where we ate our meal looked out over the rugby grounds. I scored a 4/5 because of the starter, if I had not had that, it would have been a 5! We will definitely go back before we head home to the UK! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.Le Dauphinoix
