The yakitori skewers were tasty and the English menu made ordering a breeze. I really liked the casual, lively vibe in here - it felt like a proper izakaya. Prices were pretty fair too.

Been coming here for years, and the noodles are still just right for me. Slightly thicker, on the softer side. The broth is always strong and rich. That's why I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years. It's quiet even at lunch, good for a relaxed meal. Their shrimp tempura is always crispy, never greasy. A solid spot.

The roll cake was so light and airy, which I really appreciate. The cream inside was fresh and not overly sweet, just the way I like it. Went perfectly with my afternoon coffee. A nice, simple treat.

Portions are huge, even the regular size. Got the katsu curry for a quick lunch. The cutlet was crispy, sauce was thick and flavorful. More than enough for a big appetite. Good for a fast, filling meal.

The vegetable tempura set was solid. Batter was light and crisp, not oily. Good variety of seasonal vegetables, each piece cooked just right. A reliable choice for a quick business lunch.

The prix fixe lunch here is a solid deal. Four courses for about 3000 yen, and the cooking is consistently good.

The tasting menu was pretty good. Each dish looked nice and the flavors were balanced. Service was a bit slow at the end, though.

The presentation of the dishes is as delightful as the taste, making it a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The commitment to using seasonal and rare ingredients is evident in every course.

Been here a few times. Staff always remembers my usual order, even when it's busy. They're quick with water refills and just let you eat in peace. Good, solid service.

The chicken katsu rice bowl is my go-to. Comes with a good portion and the price is right. I like dropping by around 4pm when it's quiet, just a few other folks. Perfect for a quick, filling bite.

Premium Hoppy here is a treat. Miso soup starter was a nice touch. Got my set lunch quickly, perfect for a fast break. A bit pricier than usual spots, but the speed makes up for it.

Been coming here for years. The counter seats are my favorite. They always take their time with the seasonal stuff, you can really see the care in each plate. That's why I keep coming back.

Cozy little spot, feels like stepping back in time. The stew was exactly what I needed on a cold night - simple, warming, and didn't break the bank. Portion was generous too.

The pickled vegetables and sesame salad were a nice touch. Made the meal feel a bit more complete.

The tasting menu was a nice experience. The Niigata Wagyu was pretty good, and the grilled black throat fish was decent. The pacing felt a bit slow at one point, but overall it was fine.

The chilled chawanmushi was the highlight. The dashi jelly on top had a clean, savory taste that went perfectly with the smooth, cold egg custard underneath. A really interesting texture. The beef offal hotpot was just okay for me.

Staff were friendly and offered an English menu, which was helpful. The sake list was decent, had a nice dry one that went well with the grilled dishes. A welcoming spot after a long day.
