TheForkUserAlex, the owner of the restaurant, gave us an amazing welcoming. The food quality was much over than our expectations and Alex gave us details about all the food that was served. The environment is really friendly and familiar. The owner never stopped to let us try his specialities and he gave us the honor to drink a couple of glasses of wine together. We will be back 101%. TheForkUserI went to the Eleven restaurant with friends and we opted for the “Eleven” tasting menu with wine pairings. When we arrived, we were taken to the table and stood there kind of “abandoned” for almost 10 or 15 minutes until we were actually served. But after that, the service was very good and the food was very good too. In the end, what I missed, compared to other restaurants with tasting menus I’ve been to, was receiving a copy of the wine menu. But it was very good, and the view from the restaurant over the park in Lisbon is very beautiful too!Cura

Each diner is a member of the audience. The chef conducts his staff, providing the most glorious presentations and delectable offerings. The maestro discusses the presentations . At the same time the sous chefs are putting the finishing touches on the dishes. The offerings are presented and plated in front of the guest, while watching the various presentations around the bar. The atmosphere is open yet intimate. Each reservation is separate while being part of the total experience. The food! It's a " symphony"Of textures and tastes. The melding of a spice to an herb to a protein. Truly an experience. An OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE.Now, one drawback. The building is historic. As a result there is no elevator. Joe the world citizenI tried the barnacles for the first time last night 😋 It was a little more work than I expected but the taste was good. Apparently someone said it’s the best seafood restaurant in Lisbon and we had to wait more than an hour to get a table. Although there is nothing special on the menu, the seafood is very fresh, which makes all of the dishes delicious. The famous dessert is steak sandwich but we couldn’t eat anymore 😅MATIZ LISBOA
