TheForkUserI don’t usually give 10s, but Hulscher’s absolutely deserves it. Not only is it AMAZING value for money, but the dishes are also SO CREATIVE—yet still surprisingly delicious. It’s flavours that you wouldn’t think to pair together yourself necessarily, but they are just in perfect harmony with each other. As if the chef is letting you in on a secret you never knew your palate was missing. Every plate feels like a work of art, with each edible flower carefully plated onto a dish, like petals pressed between the pages of a love letter. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been, if not, THE BEST restaurant. I will 100% be coming back. I had the eggplant as a starter and pork belly as a main, plus an amazing Pornstar Martini cocktail. The service was absolutely impeccable as well—but nothing could beat that amazing eggplant dish. It wasn’t just food; it was the kind of dish you find yourself wishing you could experience that first bite all over again.

TheForkUserWe had dinner for two on the evening of Tuesday 12 September. Small but cosy restaurant, nice and helpful staff. The menu offers a wide choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. The quality of the food is excellent, as is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the owner. Food served in record time, considering the restaurant was already almost full. The only problem is that in order to enjoy the best Greek I have ever found I have to come all the way to Amsterdam from Bologna (Italy) ahahaha
