The mac and cheese is a standout. Creamy, generous portion, and the cheese blend works. Took the family, and they handled the different orders efficiently. A solid choice for a straightforward meal.

A solid spot for a quick coffee. The hot latte came out fast, which was nice. I appreciate when a place doesn't keep you waiting. The seating is decently comfortable too, a real plus when you just want to sit for a bit.

Staff are always friendly, even when it's packed. They let me try a flavour before ordering. Quick service, got my lunch sorted in no time. Perfect for a fast bite.

This spot's a solid pick for a quick bite. Much calmer than the other branches nearby, probably because there's no kids' play area. Had the chocolate lava cake from the dessert menu - it's the real deal. Service was a bit slow, but the quiet atmosphere made up for it.

The staff were really polite and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, which was nice. Service was attentive without being overbearing.

The gluten-free bread here is actually really good! Had the panini on it with my friends, and no one could tell the difference. Such a relief to find a spot where I can order without stressing. 😊

Parking's a bit of a pain on George Street, but we grabbed a table and the bread was so fresh and warm. Perfect for a quick catch-up with a friend over a coffee. ☕️

Coffee's always smooth and creamy here, exactly how I like it. Came in for a quick cup this morning and it hit the spot. The barista got the temperature just right, not too hot to drink straight away. Simple and reliable.

Nice, bright spot for a light lunch. The house white they suggested was a good, simple match for the food.

The staff handled the Boxing Day rush really well. I noticed how fresh the salad greens were in my bowl, which was a nice touch. The queue moved quickly, so we weren't waiting long at all.

Cheesy bacon fries were loaded, and the pepperoni pizza had plenty of toppings. Perfect for a quick bite.

The warm cinnamon cake was the highlight. Good selection of loaves and pastries on display. Service was prompt, seating comfortable. A solid spot for a quick meeting or solo coffee.

The bar seat gives you a front-row view of the open kitchen. Watching them sear the scallops for the risotto was the best part. You get that smoky, caramelised crust right in front of you. The risotto itself was a touch too al dente for my taste, but the flavour was spot on.

The spring rolls stayed crispy throughout, which was a nice surprise. Their house white wine was a perfect match for them.

Judith provided exceptional service during our visit, making the experience truly enjoyable. The food was also quite good, which added to our overall satisfaction.

Portions were spot on for me. Not those massive plates you can't finish, but not tiny either. Just a proper, satisfying meal. Nice spot.

The open kitchen is a nice touch, makes the place feel relaxed.

Lovely little spot for a quiet coffee. The tables at the back with sockets are a lifesaver when you need to get some work done. Just a really nice, calm vibe in there.

Staff knew their stuff. Asked about the dish and got a quick, clear breakdown of what was in it and why it tasted that way. Helpful when you're in a rush but still curious.

No. 1 of Bars in Edinburgh

Haggis burger was a fun first try, and the mac and cheese was properly gooey. Noticed a pool table and a little play area for kids, so seems like a good spot for families.

Been coming here for lunch for months. Food's always solid, the team's quick and friendly. Never had a bad meal. Good spot for a reliable bite.

Stumbled upon this spot and it was such a nice find! The outdoor area is like a little hidden garden. Perfect for catching up with friends over a drink. The vibe is just right, not too loud. We ended up staying for hours.

Great spot on Rose Street for a pint. Their own craft beers are solid, and the guest taps are interesting. The little terrace is a real bonus when the sun's out. Prices are fair for the area.

Service was quick and friendly, even on a busy night. Staff knew the menu well.

A really comfortable spot, the vibe is just right. The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made the whole evening feel effortless. A lovely place to unwind.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The Cullen skink soup was the star – really fresh and tasty, proper comfort food on a drizzly day. The rest of the pub grub was solid too.

First time at Taco Bell at 36, I know! Went with a friend. The place itself was bright and open, felt really casual and easy. The chicken was moist, beef well seasoned. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Had a really solid lunch here. The portion was generous for the price, and the flavours were spot on. The team was super friendly and helpful too. Just a nice, easy meal.

Chips with garlic mayo were solid. Had a card issue at the end, but staff were patient and sorted it out without any fuss. Appreciated the straightforward service.
