Been coming here for years, and the staff always remember my face. That&#39;s what keeps me coming back. The local lager they let you try before ordering is still a nice touch. Prices haven&#39;t gone crazy either, which is a relief these days.

The gammon steak was huge, which was great. I was really pleased to see how fresh the ingredients looked on the plate. It was cooked just right, not too greasy. A solid, simple dish done well.
