TheForkUserThe restaurant is beautiful, the service very welcoming, the view tremendous, the food out of this world. We made reservations easily on line. What more could you ask for??
TheForkUserAnother lovely meal at Le Jess. I ordered the cheeseburger, it was delicious. My husband ordered the steak tartare, 3 large piles of it arrived. He said it was delicious too. When both enjoyed a bottle of rose wine and sparkling water. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Will recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
TheForkUserExcellent food and service. Menu has a large choice . Decor is adorable and there is calm ambiance music. Have found my Japanese restaurant in Aix ! (And they deliver!)
TheForkUserExcellent food and service! Our waitress was attentive and polite! Had a great time!
TheForkUser2nd time back to this restaurant while we were in Avignon. Another very good experience. Quality food, good presentation, attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. And at reasonable prices. A real value restaurant.

TheForkUserWorld class ! Best meal in ages. This cook really knows what he is doing.Assorted wines were perfect.words fail to describe the excellent quality of this restaurant
TheForkUserVery fine restaurant. Great setting, lovely view, tasteful modern interior. Ask for window seat if possible. Food was delicious. Well constructed courses, intentional flavours, clear devotion to representing seasonal and regional ingredients. Flow of dishes was seamless without losing the uniqueness of each one. Service was outstanding. The waitstaff is easily at 2 star level, and paid attention to details which usually only exist at the 3 star level. Overall, this restaurant is well deserving of its recent accolades, and is outperforming at the current price point. Do not hesitate to book if possible.
TheForkUserWe absolutely loved Li Palace - we had the sweetest server which made the authentic Chinese food that much better! We were craving Asian food and this hits the spot. Five stars all around — we highly recommend this to all!
TheForkUserThe hamburger was probably the best in my life! Very delicious and big. Lovely place in the city center and gentle people working there. The only bitter moment was that they haven’t done the 30% discount as in the booking, but we’ve noticed it too late as we just made a small stop to eat and went back immediately on highway
TheForkUserGood fresh food, friendly service, nice terrace overlooking tenniscourts or (in summer) the pool.
TheForkUserWe come here from time to time, excellent atmosphere, food and service. High quality price, I recommend.
TheForkUserThe dinner was perfect. Nice place to eat outside. A good choice of dishes. The food and drinks ste a little bit expensive for Aix, but I certainly can recommend this place. We have eaten here 2 times. Do we liked it!
TheForkUserOur hostess was so friendly and personable but more importantly, the food was delicious. The menu is limited but for our dinner, everything we had was enjoyable and very reasonably priced. Merci “Mamie” for a lovely evening in Avignon. We loved the “Grandmother Skis” which is effectively a charcuterie with melted cheese (perfect for the moment). We recommend it.
TheForkUserIt was a great moment and I enjoyed the dishes, well presented and tasty. The white paint wood terrace and the nearby swimming pool give a sensation of topical place. I'll surely come back hoping the pool and the pineapple tartar will be then available ;) To anyone, don't miss your chance having some times spent there.
TheForkUserThe staff were very friendly and helpful if a bit unsure, but the food was disappointing to say the least. The club sandwich was unpleasant - stone cold and contained inedible and rather revolting slimy chicken slices which may well have come from a catering pack. At these prices, really? The gambas linguine was ok but served lukewarm. Our first plates arrived after about 40 minutes which is way too long. We had to prompt to get a wine list. Wine list is great by the way but food and service do not match it sorry to say.. Lastly we had to negotiate with several staff to be allowed to take dessert and coffee in the bar which was next door along the corridor (the coffee never arrived) . Again, really? The restaurant room was hot and dark and surely you should be able to move tables in a large hotel without a fuss? Where was the manager? Although there were several staff around we had to carry our own water and glasses through to the bar . We were made to pay up before moving next door (3 metres away!) as though we might have made a run for it! - which kind of summed up the rather disconnected approach to service..
TheForkUserAn unexpected pleasure. After a week of dining at restaurants in the posh hill towns in the Luberon, we stopped here on the way back from visiting a friend at the beach in Cassis. The town is a real Provencal farm town, with a proud a spirit. And our dinner was excellent, served with enormous warmth by the proprietress. It was great fun to get away from other vacationers like ourselves!
TheForkUserDoesn’t help that if you book a table for 18:30 and turn up they say ‘sorry we don’t open til 19:30, it’s a mistake by the computer’… clearly the opening time is wrong on Fork, TripAdvisor and Google.
TheForkUserExcellent food and friendly service. Romantic location in the center but away from the crowds. Great wine selection as well. Much enjoyed.
TheForkUserThe restaurant is only outside (covered terrace) and it’s not heated. It was really cold and nothing was offered like blanket, candles or other
TheForkUserGreat service and location, friendly staff. The food has a very good presentation, a real effort is made. when it comes to the taste, it is good, but lacks a bit to be waouw. overall I would say you get great value for your money and will eat very well for a brasserie.
TheForkUserVery good food. wonderful setting out of the hustle and bustle of Aix, yet right on the cusp. Service was great. Very nice experience.
TheForkUserExcellent food served in a beautiful old building that creates a special atmosphere, hidden in the outskirts of salon de provence. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is classic French with some creative twists served in generous portions.
TheForkUserSimple, but tasteful, little restaurant, very quiet as it was Sunday night. My wife is from California so misses good Japanese food. She was really delighted with everything and her entire meal with two glasses of wine cost the same as just the wine in LA. Absolutely charming people. Loved it.
TheForkUserLovely setting outside in the shadow of a big tree. Excellent reception and service. And the food was what you expect from a Michelin star chef. My compliments!
