We set upstairs but check out the basement dining area. Very cool, feels like you are in a 500 year old building. The homemade Tiramisu was the perfect cap to a great meal.Grand Dragon

TheForkUserI was attracted by the sushi conveyor belt. However it was quite disappointing since the selection on the belt was quite banal. I found one single plate with Ebi Nigiri during my entire stay, and the rolls whre very unimaginative. Besides there were just 1 type of maki (salmon) 1 of sashimi and a few types of uramaki (4 to a plate-too many). That's it. Not much of a choice. The whole point of a conveyor belt is that you can enjoy a larger diversity than by ordering at the table by piece or a boat. The quality of the food was well above what I expected from a charity run restaurant. Even my Italian box-friend who is very picky and critical was happy and fond of the chef’s creations. The taste of the ingredients was fresh and flavorful with a very interesting touch of Sardinian cuisine and the presentation was amazing. The two ladies who served us were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. In addition, the interior decor of the restaurant was beautiful, with very interesting paintings and interesting design details. TheForkUserWe were staying nearby to catch a flight the following morning - and in need of dinner stumbled across this place - where we were very pleasantly surprised to have an excellent- great value meal of flame grilled sausage and porchetta bruschetta, and the meat st delicious, lightly battered fried calamari & shrimps - The shrimp some of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world.
