TheForkUserWe had two entrees and two mains and all were exceptionally tasty. vellutata di piselli - perfect pea with counterpointsrigatoni alla carbonara - classic and well executeddentice with mussels and fresh escaroleosso bucco with peas and carrotsA close to perfect meal: light but filling.
TheForkUserWe went to Piccolo Arancio for lunch on our 2nd day in Rome and the food and service were so good that we went back for dinner on our last night in Rome. The black truffle pasta, Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, parma ham & melon appetizer and salad esotica were exceptional! If you like wines, they have an extensive list and are very helpful in selecting a wine that matches the meal and your flavor profile. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Rome,
TheForkUserGreat pizza. Given its location near the fountain, I was pleasantly surprised with how good the pizza was. Usually places close to tourist attractions don’t need to try hard on quality and just wave in hungry tourists. This place has excellent pizza in an excellent location.
TheForkUserDelicious food served by an enthusiastic wait staff. It was hot but the misting fans really helped. We had wine and cocktails - all great. The lasagna was the bomb! And the lamb and steak were also big hits at our table.
TheForkUserVery beautiful restaurant with a nice view from the terrace. The service is excellent. The food quality is great; however, my lobster pasta dish really disappointed me: I couldn't find the lobster below a heap of cherry tomatoes. I left the dish half way and told the waiter when he asked. I did get the full bill, though, which was abundant.
TheForkUserDelicious food, attentive kind servers! Speedy service, great portions. Would definitely go back. Best meal in Rome.
TheForkUserThis little restaurant is excellent, the staff is welcoming and attentive, atmosphere is warm and family and the food is heavenly
TheForkUserEverything about this restaurant is perfect. The friendliness of the staff, the ambiance and most of all the food. We focused on the seafood but there was also a nice offering of classic Roman dishes. The grilled octopus, seafood pasta and seafood risotto were among the best meals we’ve had during our 2 weeks in Rome. A must stop if you’re anywhere near Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano but also worth a trip even if you are not.
TheForkUserGreat small restaurant not too far from the Spanish Steps. Not touristy at all. Really great food, reasonable prices, and plenty of drink and vino options. Parma ham with burrata was also as well as the white lasagna. Highly recommend!
TheForkUserI cannot thank Ditirambo enough! Amazing food(this was my 5th visit), and such an attentive and hospitable service! I am planning my visits to Ditirambo every time I'm in Rome!
TheForkUserDon’t miss the opportunity to go to this restaurant, we go when we arrive in Rome and again before we leave, have been doing that for the past 4 years, food is unbelievable and staff couldn’t be nicer. Every time we’re there we talked to others who do the same thing, they all love it but do make a reservation, it’s worth it.J&J
TheForkUserFrom the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile and promptly guided to our table. The service was exceptional—our waitress went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free needs, double-checking every dish I ordered, even when it was clearly marked on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. As starters, we had the **Cubotto di Manzo** and the **Fiore di Zucca**. For our mains, we enjoyed the **Bistecca di Manzo** and the **Filetto di Maiale**, both cooked to perfection. Though we skipped dessert, we were treated to local **Cantucci** on the house. Since I couldn’t have them, the waitress thoughtfully sourced **Baci chocolates** for me instead—a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture that truly stood out.
TheForkUserTasty pizza and a great value steps away from the Colossium. Our server was quick and very attentive - in fact the entire staff was great. They could stand to have a second bathroom but other than that, everything was lovely.
TheForkUserThis is hands down one of the best restaurants we have been to - it was my daughter’s first night in Rome and we decided to try La Ciambella after seeing a recommendation the Financial Times. Everything was perfect - to the quiet location despite its proximity to the Pantheon, the beautiful open plan dining room and the charming staff led by Mirka who made us feel like a million dollars. We were lucky enough to sit facing the kitchen and received a warm greeting from Francesca the chef. She is a genius and runs a very good kitchen - it was so delightful to watch the bonhomie and good humour amongst the kitchen - hee team clearly love their jobs! The food was incredible - I must recommend the Roman tripe in particular - we tried it at several restaurants thereafter and none came close to Francesca’s. And the quality of the ingredients was first class. We enjoyed La Ciambella so much we have booked our return to Rome in December for a second visit - It was a privilege to eat here.
TheForkUserThis was a return visit for me and the first visit for my boyfriend and Life did not disappoint. Not only was the food, service and atmosphere fantastic, but they went above and beyond to help us when we realized we left our phone (with credit cards) in the taxi that dropped us off. My boyfriend was a little nervous because he was going to propose at dinner and accidentally left the phone behind. We reached the driver and got the phone back thanks to the staff and a very nice Russian diner. We were able to relax and enjoy a wonderful and memorable evening!
TheForkUserWhat a beautiful little gem of a restaurant so close to the Spanish steps. The food, the waiters, the wine, the atmosphere amazing !!!! Excellent value for money.
_TI***djA hidden gem with a local vibe! The prices are very reasonable, and the food is delicious. It's a perfect spot to escape the tourist crowds.
_TI***o4This gelato shop is a must-visit! The flavors are authentic and delicious, especially the mango and passion fruit. The staff is also very welcoming!
TheForkUserWhat an amazing experience! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was incredible - all of the staff made us feel very welcome and they were there whenever we needed anything. We will definitely be back! A hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood.

_TI***nxBabington's is not just a tea room; it's a delightful escape into British elegance. The quality of the teas and pastries justifies the price, and the overall experience is one to cherish.
