TheForkUserI was probably quite early arriving at the restaurant (19:30) - I had booked a table for that time - but I was still quite surprised that there was no one there. The entrance door was locked (even though the restaurant supposedly opens at 19:00), so I had to get the attention of someone doing some DIY at the back of the house. Once I was seated, a more normal service was resumed. I ordered fresh pasta with truffle for my first course, which was very good, and then tagliata of beef for my second course, which was also enjoyable. The service, while friendly and helpful, was perhaps a little bit slow at times, and the ambience - despite the nice rustic restaurant interior - was at times non-existent (at one point, another family arrived, but for most of my meal I was on my own). Overall, if it’s just about the food, I would recommend this restaurant, but I think they could work on making this a more welcoming place.Osteria Maracuja

TheForkUserI had been to this restaurant many times before, and in general I liked it (nothing spectacular about it, but it’s very well located, the food is relatively good and the inside of the restaurant has a nice atmosphere). However, today we had a very bad experience. I booked through the fork yesterday, and less than two hours before the reservation they cancelled, I had not seen the cancellation so we went anyway and they said they had us on the list and that they had tried calling me (they did not). Instead of seating us inside, they put us outside under a narrow and ugly looking tent. They atmosphere was good nothing like indoors. Food took forever to arrive. They sent the wrong salad twice. I ordered a simple pasta with olive oil for my 18 month old and after 45 mins it had not arrived. My poor baby ended up falling asleep without eating lunch. The waiter was nice and very apologetic, but that doesn’t make up for the poor management of our reservation and the mishaps in the kitchen.Birrificio Marconi
