TheForkUserThe best brucheta I had ❤️
TheForkUserThe food was REALLY good. The burger with mozarella and pistacchio was really interesting and the Pinsa was even better
TheForkUserThe ravioli with ragù was a 10/10. Strongly Reccomend. Your classic trattoria. Food quality and price is good. Not pleased with the Ravioli burro e salvia. Salía was raw and should be cooked in the butter. Dessert with chocolate and pear also a 10/10. The tagliata a bit overcooked. All in all an 8/10
TheForkUserNice place located in a quiet square. Shielded tables NS nice ambient. Local food. Good selection both of sea dishes and local specialities. I honestly recommend it
TheForkUserFresh and good food. I love their hamburgers! They are always very kind to the customers. I will come back there for sure 💕
TheForkUserStaying in Frascati for New Year we found il Borgo degli Artisti by accident as we were struggling to find a restaurant that didn’t have a fish set menu, which is traditional for New Year in Italy. An Italian friend called the restaurant for us to ascertain if the menu would be predominantly meat and to our relief it was. So we arrived for our reservation and were greeted by Marina, daughter of Owner /Chef Claudio - now 80 years young and a passionate rugby player for Roma in years gone by. The restaurant interior was very rustic and the walls were covered by framed rugby jerseys from around the world. Setting the scene for a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner. The courses started with a delicious soup and crostini, followed by beans and bacon, followed by gnocchi and pasta all washed down with the most delicious of local Frascati white &red wines. All this to be followed by a meat course but unfortunately we had miscalculated the time needed for several course dinner and had made arrangements with Roman friends to meet them at our hotel to see in the new year together. So we missed the next few courses, though have to say the food was so plentiful I’m not sure we could have eaten it all. Marina was distraught we had to leave early before the set meal was finished and even Claudio, the chef came out with a bottle of Prosecco for us to celebrate the New Year before we had to run off. This is not a 5 star restaurant, but if you are looking for 5 star home cooked food that is simply delicious, served by wonderful, friendly, and with a sense of humour, staff then I encourage you to give this restaurant a try. Thank you Claudio, Marina and Gigi - you made our New Year’s Eve very special - happy New Year and we hope to see you again on our next visit. Fearga, graham, Roland and Barbara.
TheForkUserOur visit to Grazia and Graziela was amazing. The food was very tasty but what really made a difference was the staff. Everyone was super helpful and kind, specially Andrea, our waitress.
TheForkUserWonderful experience at this gem we discovered recently, Vincenzo and Priscilla were wonderful hosts, we felt cuddled and the food was paradisiac! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try something different without the need to travel abroad
TheForkUserWe really enjoyed our experience dining here! Service was wonderful, they even stayed open to accommodate us which we were so grateful for. I had the amatriciana burger and loved it. The menu was creative and expansive and the quality of the food was great.
TheForkUserVery friendly service. Nice location, directly at the beach. Been there for aperitivo and love it there.
TheForkUserAmazing food and a wonderful team and atmosphere! We really appreciated the extra’s: prosecco, nice amuse and limoncello! I would really recommend this amazing place!
TheForkUserT.re Restaurant delivers superb authentic dishes with exceptional service, capturing the essence of local Italian dining. Its cozy, neighborhood atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a delightful spot for an intimate meal. While the food impresses with rich flavors and genuine authenticity, the wine list falls short of expectations, lacking variety and depth. Despite this minor drawback, T.re remains a top choice for those seeking an authentic culinary experience with warm, attentive service.
TheForkUserOste Nostro inhabits an oasis of calm off the teeming paths around Santa Maria in Trastevere. Inside, it is small but elegantly done, not too many tables in each small room (except the 'cloister' a closed room) so wonderfully quiet for conversation. The service too was gentile and effectively quick, they accommodated my companion's vegan diet happily, and my dish was excellent. A small wine by the glass list but I found a very palatable Grechetto. Cost was excellent value.
TheForkUserThe food was excellent and the price-quality ratio is very good. The host is also very friendly. We will be happy to come again.
TheForkUserWe selected this place based on some other reviews and we weren’t disappointed. The food was authentic and delicious, the staff helpful and knowledgeable. We did book a day in advance which is advisable as it’s very busy. We sat outside which was lovely too.
TheForkUserAs usual They offered a great service considering that we were 11 people divided in 2 tables . The exceptional courtesy of proposing hamburgers for the youngsters at night which are not included in the menu was deeply appreciated. Mike’s is a great restaurant
TheForkUserGood restaurant with special meals out of the ordinary roman offer. Excellent and kind service. I recommend it. Prices could be considered high but they match the quality and freshness of ingredients.
TheForkUserA very nice and cozy restaurant with a roof top. Fantastic food with high quality. The staff was very committed and gave us great service. We had a super nice evening and will be back when we come to Rome next time.
TheForkUserA great view of the piazza, but away from the chaos, wonderful and friendly service, and delicious food. I always have lower expectations for restaurants in very touristy areas, but Berninis is an exception. The pricing is also very reasonable for the location.
TheForkUserWe found a very pleasant environment at the restaurant and food was even better. Very creative recipes followed by high quality ingredients and a remarkable presentation
TheForkUserExcellent pizza (crust filled with ricotta cheese). For dessert, try the Baba with cream and liquor. Very good price for the quality of food and service
TheForkUserWe used to live in Rome and Siciliainbocca was a favorite of ours then. Coming back,8 years later, we wanted to revisit our faves and reminisce about those wonderful years. Siciliainbocca was as good as we remembered and I felt extremely fortunate to be there on couscous night to enjoy couscous ala pesce. Fabulous! Our server - on fact the entire staff - was terrific. Bravissimo!
TheForkUserThe reviews about feeling a bit rushed to order your food are right, but once we ordered the server was very personable, had a good understanding of the menu (easily able to distinguish which foods were or could be made gluten free on the menu), and the food was excellent, if I was spending more time in Rome I would go there again.
