The katsu curry here is legit. Sauce has that deep, slightly sweet flavor and the pork stays crispy even under it. Portion is big enough that I was stuffed. Didn't care much about the decor but it does feel like a tiny Japanese tavern. Just wish the rice was a bit warmer. Solid for a casual fix.

The pain au chocolat here is still the best I’ve found around the station. Big, flaky, proper amount of chocolate. Coffee’s decent too, nothing fancy but it does the job. I keep coming back for that pastry, honestly it’s the main reason I stop in.

Dropped by for a quick lunch. Dumplings were fresh, sweet and sour chicken had a good tang. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Service was efficient, got my food fast. Fine if you're in the Oerlikon area and need something reliable without fuss. Prices are fair for what you get.

Been coming here for a while now. The owner still remembers my usual order, which is kinda nice. Had the fried rice again, portion's still massive, took half of it home like always. Food's consistent, that's mainly why I keep coming back. Place gets busy around 7, so come a bit earlier if you can.

They printed a separate allergy menu for me without me even asking. That kind of attention just makes you feel looked after.

Nice spot right in the middle of town, easy to spot with that timber frame. Staff were friendly enough. Cold platters hit the spot on a warm day.

Came for the hotpot. Beef and lamb portions were solid, seafood fresh too. Friend had the veggie pot, she was happy. Service quick, no complaints. Left full.

Service was on point. They handled our dietary requests smoothly, no drama. Felt well taken care of.

Stopped by for a quick drink and ended up staying longer than planned. The staff knew their stuff when it came to the menu—helped me pick a chai latte that had a nice kick to it. Oat version was smooth, not too sweet. Place had a decent buzz but still easy to chat. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now and the kitchen stays consistent. That's honestly the main thing for me. Had the pasta again tonight, still as good as the first time I tried it. Place gets busy so it's a bit loud, but I don't mind. Already planning my next visit.

I had a reservation for 2 at 50% discount, but once there they told me that i could only have a 30% discount because the minimum of pleople dining had to be 4, i tried to tell them that this condition was not written anywhere, but instead i was invited to leave if i didn't agree! So i ordered the Mezze Teller and a Pizza...the food was really not good, the fried things looked refried and the sauces(baba ghanoush, muttabal and hummus had no flavor at all: no salt, garlic, tahina and parsley), i had to pay bread separately even if not written on the menu. Pizza was not tasty and they put oregano on all of them, even on a Margherita. It's the common kebab place masked as a restaurant!

Been coming here for a while now. The vibe stays relaxed, never too crowded. Good spot to just grab a drink and unwind. They had a live event last time I was in, pretty cool touch.

No. 10 of Bars in Zurich

The interior feels classic and cozy, not too big. I had the grilled fish which tasted really fresh. Service was attentive without hovering. Prices felt fair for the quality.

The wine list is what got me—really well picked, not the usual boring stuff. Food was good, but the bouillabaisse came out a bit small. Honestly, I expected more from it. Still, the vibe kept me happy. Elegant without trying too hard. I'd sit at the bar again just for a glass and the atmosphere.

The terrace is lovely on a sunny day—plenty of seats and that breeze off the water. Drinks were good, just a bit pricey for what you get.

Solid brunch spot. Coffee was good, servers friendly. Breakfast sandwich hit the spot - runny egg, fresh veggies on a proper bagel. Sat outside, nice view of the old streets. Nothing fancy but does the job.

The garden courtyard really is something else—quiet, shaded, and actually cool even when it’s hot out. I had a relaxed lunch there and the food was well-prepared, nothing fancy but solid. Service stayed attentive without hovering. Just a nice spot to sit and take your time. Maybe not worth a special trip, but I’d come back if I’m in the area.

The mezze sampler gave us a good mix of everything, and the flatbreads were nicely charred. Portions are big, so definitely come hungry.

The chicken katsu curry was really good—fresh ingredients, nicely balanced. I just wish the portion had been a bit bigger for the price.

Stopped by for a beer with a couple of friends on a Thursday night. Place has a decent vibe, not too loud. The crowd was a good mix. Only thing is the pints felt a bit small for the price. I get that it's a chill spot, but I'd expect a bit more for what you pay. Still, friendly enough staff.

Solid noodles, decent price for Zurich. Portion was big enough that I didn't need anything else. Staff didn't rush me. Nothing fancy but it does the job.

Came here on a Tuesday night, place was packed but we got a table fast. Had the veal — sauce was spot on, not too heavy. Service knew their stuff, didn’t hover. Price is what you’d expect for Zurich, nothing crazy. Kitchen’s clearly got a good rhythm right now.
