The food was pretty good. the prawn cocktail sauce was rather watery but the prawns were fine. The serving of pate was very generous but the bread was like concrete. I think it had started life as a sourdough baguette, been re-warmed then allowed to go cold.We were very pleased with the main course being served with separate dishes of potatoes and vegetables so you could choose what you wanted and how much.Our table all had the salmon which was lovely. Lamb in the Saag Ghosht, was beautifully succulent, but do expect things to be different. The pickle tray with the poppadom's was unlike anything I've had before but was still lovely. While quite expensive, the food was arguably well worth the price in terms of flavour and presentation, despite delivery being a little slow considering that the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. The waitresses were all lovely and helpful, with special mention to Melissa and Alice, both of whom went out of their way to make our experience as enjoyable as possible.
