We&#39;ve been coming here for years, usually for birthdays or when friends visit. The food is consistently decent, never disappoints. Had the steak this time, cooked properly. Service was fine, nothing fancy. It&#39;s a bit pricey for what it is, but you know what you&#39;re getting. Still a solid choice for a reliable meal.

The homemade apple pie was the highlight for me &mdash; warm and not too sweet. Service was friendly but left us alone to enjoy our coffee. Cozy spot.

The Dutch breakfast with ham, eggs and cheese on sourdough hit the spot. Flat white with a pastel de nata was a nice bonus. Place gets busy, but worth it for a slow morning.

Very nice French fare, in a gem of a location on the canal in Utrecht. The pace of service was just right, and a good evening out.  One item that they need to get taken care of is the electronic payment system.  Not working for any credit card or even debit card that is backed by visa, and had to have enough cash to pay the bill or walk to an ATM a half mile away.  Other than this payment mishap, the restaurant is a treasure.

Stopped by for a few drinks with friends last week. Beer list is solid, nothing crazy but well chosen. Bartender knew his stuff when I asked about the IPA. Place fills up fast after ten, got pretty packed. Fine if you&#39;re in the mood for that energy, just don&#39;t expect a quiet chat later on.

An old favourite in Leiden! Great place for dinner, right on the newly renovated Garenmarkt. Food and service were great, and it has a nice wine selection with lots of well priced bottles!

Owner helped us with our bikes and saved us a table for the next night. Really nice guy. Food was solid, one of the better meals we had on the trip. No complaints.
