TheForkUserWell-located and a pretty patio. Service is fine. It’s the food that is, at best, mediocre. Foie gras: just buy your own canned foie gras. Chicken with spaetzle and mushrooms— dry noodles, flour-heavy mushroom sauce. If you find yourself here, stick to a glass or pitcher of local wine and have a tarte flambée.
TheForkUserExcellent restaurant in the old Petite France area of Strasbourg. French cuisine of high quality for starters, main courses and desserts. The cuisine is fresh, fine, creative with various flavours / shades. Good selection of wines. Cautious and dedicated service. Do not miss such an experience!
TheForkUserWe had a great experience at Le Madras. The food was excellent, as was the service. It’s on a quiet street in a nice area. Highly recommended!
TheForkUserIt was a very nice experience, with great dishes at good prices. The service was great, with a friendly staff who provided a quick service.
TheForkUserMy boyfriend and I chose this restaurant to have Christmas dinner together, and it exceeded our expectations. The service was perfect, all the staff were very dedicated and very respectful and friendly. I don't think there is a word to describe exactly how good the food was. Because it was more than perfect, the staff also guided us in choosing the selection of wines, I can say that it was the perfect choice for each individual dish, you could feel the explosion of flavors when it was drank with the particular dish . Perfect, nothing to complain about.❤️
TheForkUsertop quality. top wine. top staff. hope to come back soon. can't wait to see the spring/summer menu. everything was great. thank you!!! see you soon.
TheForkUserOne of the best dining experiences we’ve had over the last year. Portions were plentifully sized and very well executed. The flavor combinations were outstanding. Frankly, we were over the moon for this place!
TheForkUserOverall it was a good experience and a good ratio quality/price. If you plan to visit on summer time think about taking some insect repellent. Due to proximity to the lake there are a lot of mosquitos but with repellent is fine and we have a good time.
TheForkUserUnforgettable Dining ExperienceLe Cannibale offers a truly unique culinary adventure! The food was outstanding— meat was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and well worth the visit. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service made our evening exceptional. A must-try spot in Strasbourg for meat lovers!
TheForkUserWhat a wonderful gustative experience !We took the « epicure » menu and the chef agreed to include the « foie gras raviole », simply the best raviole ever. From starters to desert, just amazing. Some kind of haute couture cuisine from Auguste Escoffier.Great wines (very nice sommelier). The service is perfect. The room is very nice, lots of space between tables,.Hats off, I highly recommend.
TheForkUserFantastic food, very attentive friendly staff, ambient atmosphere. A really pleasant dining experience, would thoroughly recommend!
TheForkUserA good country restaurant. Unpretentious but very friendly service, very generous helpings and some creativity in the cuisine. I did like the duck fillets on rhubarb! It really worked. Altogether a place I would recommand.
TheForkUserFYI, the daily menu (21eur in Mai 2024) has only the main course and dessert, no starter - regardless of what you read here..Food was OK, though everything was slightly too salty. Service is pleasant, if I disregard the fact that arriving 12.45 I was already tuck away alone in a back room. Felt awkward.
TheForkUserThe menu was a bit limited yet good.

TheForkUserWe had a great lunch at ‘aux Douze Apôtres ‘ . Started outside for an aperitif , and continued inside to eat. Food was good and well portioned! Staff was very friendly!
TheForkUserThe place from outside, doesn't seem nice...a bit too industrial, but inside is house warming :-)Food amazingly good!
TheForkUserI really enjoy dining here - and was lucky today cause the weather meant we sat outside!
TheForkUserThis was a delightful neighborhood restaurant. We sat outside on the patio. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I had tagliatelle with meat sauce and my husband had tortellini with mushrooms and cream sauce. Both served piping hot and delicious! It was surprising to us that they served both Indian and Italian cuisine. We definitely would go back the next time we’re in Strasbourg.
TheForkUserWe had a lovely evening at this local restaurant! The waiter was very friendly (he even took our photo!). Our meals were very good and the wine was excellent! It was a special celebration for our family… thank you for making it memorable!
TheForkUserWas a great experience, service was very sympathetic with sweet smile.chef came out,and met the clients at the end of his service.the service was very fluid.wonderful night.
TheForkUserExpensive for what it is
TheForkUserThe menu can please everyone and the food was really good. The premises are tastefully decorated and the owners are absolutely lovely. Unfortunately that evening it was hot and we were next to two very loud tables celebrating a b'day without considering others.
TheForkUserNice restaurant with excellent Lebanese food and really nice and helpful staff that speaks French, English and German making foreign people feel very welcomed and at ease. A nice choice for sure
TheForkUserThe food was very delicious, especially the deer. Also the vegetarian option was amazing. Much better than in other restaurants. I recommend it.
TheForkUserI had my first escargot here and it was excellent! The outside area is shaded and cool. It’s not too loud and the waiter was very nice! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and would definitely eat here again!
