The daily lunch menu changes often, which I like. The flavors are authentic, simple. My pasta today was just right.

A cozy spot in Varese&#39;s center. I really appreciated their focus on natural wines. The staff explained the origins so well, you could tell they cared about quality sourcing. The music was a bit loud for conversation, but the overall vibe was relaxed.

The food is absolutely amazing. Michelin does this place a disservice rating it at one star. A very solid 2 star in my opinion.  Add the lakeside view and it is hard to beat.  Superb wine pairing using local and South Italian wines.

The staff helped us book a table at a great local spot. Really appreciated their local knowledge.

The chicken Milanese was so tender, and the breading was light. Really appreciated the fresh ingredients here.

The atmosphere here is lovely, with a clean and well-kept interior. The meat dishes are particularly excellent, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.

Service was really good, friendly and attentive. They noticed it was my birthday and surprised me with a small cake. A nice touch.

While it was a very hot night, the food made up for that discomfort. I had the lasagna and my husband ordered the gnocchi for our primi with both bring amazing. We then shared a veal dish and spinach which did not disappoint.

The restaurant was extremely noisy with kids running all around. It wasn&#39;t what we were looking for, so as soon as they show us our table we left. The menu looks childish.

Whether you are a vegetarian or not, this restaurant offers truly unique and excellent food.  The food is freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The risotto is sublime, and the lasagna is an inspiration -- black cabbage lasagna for example. And the dolce topped off the menu. Highly recommend this gem in Como.

We ate at the oddly situated St. Anna many years ago when we were visiting at the nearby hospital, now relocated.  I remembered it was excellent then, and we decided to give it a try, perhaps expecting that it wouldn&#39;t be quite as good over 20 years later.  As it turned out, the attention to detail in menu and preparation were even better than I had remembered.  Truly a jewel in Como and very well worth seeking out, to say the least.  Worthy of a Michelin star in my view, if Michelin ever gets over its tiresome obsession with tweezer food.  If there is no parking directly in front of their door, just go down the hill to the free municipal lot, walk up the short hill, ring the bell, and expect an excellent meal with attentive and kind service in a cosy, tasteful environment.  .

Nice little wine shop and bistro. The markup on bottles is minimal, so it&#39;s a good spot for a decent glass with a meal.

Big portions for the price, which is nice. Food is solid. Service is quick, got my order in and out fast. Perfect for a quick lunch.

The drive up is a bit bumpy, but it&rsquo;s quick. The view over Como is just incredible. Had the blueberry cheesecake&mdash;really good. Staff were nice and quick.

The burgers are big and juicy. Really tasty patties, cooked just right. The house salad is massive, could easily feed two people. Portions are huge for the price.

The games room is a fun addition! We ended up staying longer than planned because of the pool table. It&#39;s a nice spot to hang out with friends after a meal.

The owner is a friendly French speaker. We had a good dinner here in Varese. The pasta was cooked just right, and the fish was fresh. It&#39;s a solid choice for a meal around &euro;50 per person.

The seafood stringozzi was pretty good, a decent portion with fresh clams. The Fassona beef fillet was fine, cooked as requested. A solid meal overall, though the dining room felt a bit warm.

The pizza was really good, but I was surprised to see Chinese and Japanese options on an Italian menu.

The set lunch menu is the move. Had the pizza with mozzarella and anchovies, the crust was thin and chewy just how I like it. The anchovies were salty and punchy, a good match. Solid lunch for the price.
