The restaurant is quiet and with a lovely atmosphere. The food is very good and the service fast and professional. I highly recommend this place (prices are medium-high which is normal for the very centre if Florence, but it is worth spending for a so lovely meal).

It is a very cozy place. the owner and the cook are very friendly and top notch. What to say about the food &hellip;.. AMAZING , yummy, homey, heartwarming and the feast for your palate. The menu is not very rich but every dish is delicious. It is guaranteed that you will not be disappointed if you visit the place .

Wonderful restaurant outside the Centro Storico of Citt&agrave; di Castello. Delicious and abundant food, exceptional service, more than reasonable prices. Third time there and looking forward to going back!

Second visit, equally wonderful.  Set in Fiesole centre with tables outside, a very nice experience.  Food was very good and just like the pictures shown on other posts, with ingredients locally sourced right  down to the honey. Stuffed peppers were not what we expected and a pleasant surprise with tastes of Thailand.  Cold tomato soup again a surprise, it&#39;s shrimp with diced fruits in a little tomato juice, very refreshing.  Pork medallions soft and gently cooked with a nice honey sauce was delicate flavours.Bit disappointed with the steak not peppery as advertised, but cooked nice wirh a good char,  potatoes were great.  The agnolotti was a beautiful, yellow tomato sauce and stuffed with tuscan sausage, a must.  The most unexpected carrot cake, a delight.Staff very nice, very helpful, seats a bit uncomfortable, on 2nd visit enjoyed comfy seats inside.

Bengodi has been one of my absolute favorite spots for almost two decades. Fabulous ambiance, friendly service and delicious offerings of traditional Tuscan fare. If you&rsquo;re staying in the area, don&rsquo;t miss this local favorite!

Very nice ambience, very nice reception. Unfortunately, the service staff sometimes spoke very quickly, rather indistinctly and quietly, which is a tiresome issue in many gourmet restaurants in Italy - but not in all of them.The wine wasn&#39;t topped up, even when asked, the sommelier was too busy and the other staff didn&#39;t hear or ignored our request.The white wine (Paleo bianco) was fantastic, we topped it up ourselves.The sommelier couldn&#39;t find the selected Spanish red wine (Ambrossar 2013) after a long search, we then drank a Pinot Noir at the very end, with dessert, unfortunately the wine wasn&#39;t so nice, and we also had to pour it ourselves again. When paying, I saw (found) the wine I hadn&#39;t found in the wine cellar itself, it was standing by the window (see photo) .... .All in all, service and sommelier not up to scratch, food very good.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Repeat dining. We really enjoy this restaurant and have eaten many times when in the area.Great service and wonderful food and wine!

They accommodated our request for a view of the Ponte Vecchio and boy did it deliver! And given our 6pm reservation time (which we were late for due to a mistake in our directions!) they allowed us a couple of hours to enjoy the view and it was just a terrific experience overall. Will definitely return and highly recommend it - the view, the food and the drink! Perfect!

The ambience was cosy and cool. The service was incredibly attentive and wine recommendations were fabulous. Enjoyed the food which did not disappoint and they did not let us over order!! Would highly recommend!!!

If you want a break from Italian food would 100% recommend Cloud 59.  Best burgers we have ever had, and the staff were wonderful, including a shot at the bar with Taylor that got me a disapproving look from the wife

This restaurant is part of a beautiful hotel overlooking the Tuscan hills just a 15 minute drive south of Florence.  The food was delicious with a tomahawk steak as the Chef&#39;s personal recommendation, and indeed it was delicious.  But being in the northern Chianti region, it was the wine that stood-out both in quality and affordability.  Service was ok: they were very busy and understaffed.

This lovely restaurant is nestled in an old palazzo on the side of a hill overlooking Florence. Everything about Trattoria La Gargotta was perfect &ndash; excellent service, relaxing jazz music, truly delicious food, and an ambience thoughtfully designed to enjoy a spectacular meal. Thanks for a relaxing evening; we&rsquo;ll return for sure.
