TheForkUserThe restaurant location is perfect, overlooking picturesque Blue Mountain vistas. The amazing location is well-matched by great food - everything was prepared extremely well and to a high standard. We were particularly impressed by lamb backstrap and tenderloin, the desserts were also great. The ambiance was good - during our dinner we had the pleasure of listening to live piano music during our dinner. The service was great also, the waiter was quick to offer suggestions and answer all of our questions. Our only and slight issue was the seating. Despite requesting a table near the window during booking, we were placed in the middle of the room. It would be great if the restaurant could notify in advance whether window table seating is available.

TheForkUserTench Reserve Coffee Club was the perfect venue to cater for our department get together. The seating arrangement was very comfortable. The food was beautiful. The staff were great and efficient. The booking process was extremely easy. I highly recommend.

The Archibald is in a great location, with views, out to the city, and the atmosphere is inviting. My only concern is the booking system doesn’t work.

TheForkUserLuckily we were able to change our assigned seating, which was out the front near the road. Would have been OK but the day was getting hot… we changed to an inside table near the fireplace (not needed) and with a window to the outside, from which a nice breeze came. We enjoyed it all and my two senior lady friends loved the historic ambiance.
