TheForkUserThe restaurant is about a 25 minute walk from the old town, but still well worth a visit. It serves good traditional French cuisine - the lamb dish in particular was excellent!
TheForkUserThe ambience is so cozy. Waiter very nice but service was quite slow and I had to send my fish back to be cooked. However! The goat cheese salad was outstanding, as was the smoked salmon appetizer. My husband had one of the fish platters and enjoyed it very much. I had the grilled Seabass, which upon first arrival was quite red. But when they brought it back, it was cooked perfectly. The side of vegetables and the mashed potatoes were unlike any other!
TheForkUserMy wife and I had an enjoyable dinner at Cafe Des Gourmets. She had the lamb shank and I had the duck confit. It was a good atmosphere with couples and groups of friends seated throughout the cafe. Service was good and servers were friendly. Good experience.
TheForkUserFirst and most important 5 stars to service and Chef deserves 6 stars!!! I am not big fun of set menu’s but this was just essential experience… lobster dish and lobster press wow 🤩 loved every second there, thank you for making my husbands birthday special!
TheForkUserExtremely good food and staff were amazing. Found us a taxi home and made sure we got back to our camping park. Could not have gone better.
TheForkUserThis is a great restaurant with loads of tables inside and outside. All of our food was excellent - really good pizza in particular. Staff all seemed friendly and our server was great and efficient, making a big effort to translate to English for us. We visited on one of the hottest days of the year - 40 degrees at 7pm, and so the only downside was that the restaurant,s air conditioning could not really cope! Highly recommend this friendly place.
TheForkUserVery nice venue despite the extra-touristic proximity to the main pedestrian shopping street in Bordeaux: we had the menu of the day, including egg parfait, chicken in a light spice sauce and greeneries and a pastry with caramel and whipped cream. Also very good espresso and fairly priced. Book and go!
TheForkUserAmazing food, everything was great quality. It got a bit crowded at the end, which is a sign of quality :) The room could have been warmer, but it's winter and it's quite cold everywhere.
TheForkUserThe staff were so friendly and helpful at this lovely creperie!! The galettes were delicious and really crispy, with very nice fillings. I had 3 cheese & asked for ham in addition. This was no problem at all & the ham was excellent quality. The crepes were also excellent according to my husband. I had another gazette with caramel because I'm gluten free - it was delicious too. The food was lovely and the super friendly & efficient service made it a great night!
TheForkUserGreat traditional French cuisine. Good and authentic. A little noisy though.
TheForkUserWe were welcomed into Pizzeria Filippo where we really enjoyed our pizzas. The quality of the ingredients and the thoughtful options on the menu made this a memorable meal. We also enjoyed the rose wine. Overall, this was really good value for the quality of the meal.
TheForkUserThe food was delicious - fresh and great quality. Lovely service too - super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed so much that we went back again for lunch the next day.
TheForkUserFantastic, wonderful restaurant, lunch was amazing we will definitely return to Bordeaux to experience dinner here. Thank you for the kindness shown.
TheForkUserChien de Pavlov is one of my favorite Bordeaux spots. Creative and tasty meals, great prices and friendly service in a casual atmosphere. A must for any visit to Bordeaux.
TheForkUserExcellent meal I had the rack of lamb followed by creme buree, slight reduction on rating was the chips were not great which the restaurant owner admitted which was due to using new potatoes, but certainly recommend this restaurant
TheForkUserOur son and his family, including his wife, a nine-year-old grandson, and a twelve-year-old granddaughter, visited us in Bordeaux for a holiday. Our grandchildren can be quite picky about their food, so we decided to stick to hamburgers. To our surprise, the entire family thoroughly enjoyed Le Petit Mignon for their hamburgers, which they deemed some of the best they had ever tasted.
_TI***rnThis gourmet restaurant truly showcases passion in both food and service. The flavors and presentation of the dishes were exceptional, and the value for money is outstanding!
TheForkUserWhat a fantastic restaurant. Excellent food and service, loved the wine pairing and tasting combination. Every dish was something to savour. Would definitely visit again on our next trip to Bordeaux
TheForkUserAmazing genuine Spanish food. Great wine and outstanding service! Congratulations to the team and props to the chef.We ordered a bottle of Hey Malbec, which we adored. Our favourite tapas that we tried were the Sepia Romana and the Croquetas. Delicious!
TheForkUserGreat food and fast service! Loved the vibe outside. Lots of street performers for entertainment. Seating was a little on a hill though so my husband found it hard to sit on the slope like he was gonna fall over haha. But other than that everything was amazing
TheForkUserI absolutely loved my night here. The staff and owner were lovely and attentive with lots of info about the food and Japanese culture. Food was superb and amazing value , the bento box was epic and delicious mochi dessert. Lovely wine and an amazing selection of social Japanese whiskeys for after. Thank you so much for a great evening!
TheForkUserExcellent restaurant, fabolous dishes and a great wine selection, but ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK WITH THE FORK, YOUR BOOKING WILL NOT BE SENT TO THE RESTAURANT, BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THEM VIA THEIR WEBSITE
TheForkUserWe went twice during our trip to Bordeaux it was so good. Excellent menu choices and good wines. Would recommend
TheForkUserQuiet on a Monday evening, a few tables occupied inside and out. Just one guy on service with a lot to do, so an unhurried meal, that was fine by us.Excellent pizzas. Thin base, crispy edges, very tasty & loaded topping. Nice desserts. Wine by carafe, glass or bottle. A good meal and inexpensive for such a location close to Place de la Bourse.
TheForkUserDelicious Indian cuisine. Always make it a point while in Bordeaux to stop by. Friendly staff and prompt service. No issues with fork app and removal of discounts.
TheForkUserAmazing food and excellent service. We had an awesome night here, and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who's looking for some great food around Bordeaux.
TheForkUserSuper friendly staff and a nice selection of very tasty asian dishes. I marked the ambience as 4/5 only because we were close to the kitchen & toilet entrance but otherwise it would’ve been 5/5. Will definitely be returning to try other menu options.
