Great spot for a quick pint. Batemans ales on tap are spot on. Found it tucked away on a side street, perfect for a fast stop. The old building looks nice from the outside. Just what you need for a swift one.

The chicken chow mein here has a proper smoky, charred flavour to it. Not bland at all, which is a common issue elsewhere. Portion was decent for the price. Service was efficient. A solid option for a quick, reliable meal in the area.
