The scones here are a real treat. Fresh out of the oven, still warm and so light. Honestly, some of the best I've had. The rest of the tea was lovely too, but those scones are the star for me.

Lovely garden seating for summer! Came with friends and the vegan cream tea was a nice touch. Scones were huge, we could barely finish them. A cute spot for a catch-up.

A real local favourite, which is always a good sign. The menu has so much choice it's almost overwhelming. Went for dinner and everything was tasty, and honestly, the prices felt very fair for what you get.

Managed to get a last-minute table, which was a nice surprise. The star for me was the grilled octopus - perfectly tender with a smoky char. Portion was a bit smaller than expected, but the flavour was spot on.

Had the Sunday roast here. Properly cooked beef, generous portion of veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. The old building is lovely, bit drafty by the window though. Solid lunch.

Came here with a few friends last Friday. It's a small, cosy spot, really intimate. We ended up staying for hours just chatting, the vibe is so relaxed. The lighting is just right for a proper catch-up.

Menu's got a proper veggie/vegan section. Portions are huge. My plate looked like a photo.

Jimmy the owner is super friendly. I asked for a slight change to the pasta dish and he sorted it out no problem. That kind of willingness to accommodate a small request makes a difference. Portions were decent for the price, so felt like a fair deal overall.

Tasting menu was the highlight. Each course looked great and packed flavour. The 'Price is Wight' special was good value for the quality.

Love how this place transitions through the day. Had a coffee and a croissant in the morning, then came back for a late lunch and a cocktail on the sunny terrace. The vibe just shifts perfectly.

Stumbled in after the lighthouse walk. They had a table for us, no booking needed. The fish and chips were spot on, and that homemade tartar sauce really worked. The live jazz was a nice touch, made the place feel cosy. A solid pint of ale alongside it all, just right.

Amazing food and excellent service from Sharon who went "over and above" to ensure we all had a fantastic experience; only our second visit, we will definitely make it a first port of call when meeting family/friends for a celebratory meal, plus recommend it to others

The staff were really lovely, even when the place got packed. They took the time to explain how the dishes were prepared, which I appreciated. It made for a relaxed and comfortable meal.

The grilled cheese was loaded and the tomato soup was a perfect match for a glass of house red. Fries were solid, too.

Been coming here for years. They always remember my dairy allergy and have a great apple pie option.

The Sunday roast. The beef was cooked just right, not dry at all. Big portion. The cauliflower cheese was the best part, really creamy and rich. Gravy was good too. Everything came out hot. Decent price for what you get.

Ordered the Classic English and Eggs Royale. Both were cooked fresh, which was nice. The portions were decent for the price, you definitely get a proper plateful. Good for a filling breakfast without feeling ripped off.

The scallops were juicy, sauce was great. Whitebait and soup were solid. Chocolate fondant with honey ice cream was a nice finish. Quick and tasty lunch.

The steak was cooked exactly as ordered, medium-rare. Juicy and flavourful, with a good sear on the outside. The peppercorn sauce was rich but not overpowering. A solid main course.

The place was buzzing, which I always like. The music and decor really did feel authentic. It was a bit loud for a proper chat, but the energy was great.

Meal for a family of 4 after a visit to Tapnell Farm, staff were polite, pleasant and helpful. Drinks arrived promptly, food not long after. Recommend The Matador burger for me, the chicken wrap my daughter smashed, hotdog demolished by my son, and hubby had the big smoke burger which he enjoyed. Recommend to visit but booking is advisable to get a table no matter what season

The Chateaubriand was a decent cut, and carving it at the table was a nice touch. The service was efficient, though perhaps a little too quick for a relaxed evening. My kids were happy with their pizzas.

Great selection of ales, perfect for a casual pint.

Popped in for lunch after shopping at Westquay. It's nice and spacious, which I always appreciate. The staff were very friendly and didn't rush us at all. We had the fish and chips, and it was just what we needed. A comfortable spot to take a break.

Got a table as a walk-in on a busy Saturday, which was a relief. The gluten-free options are solid. My partner, who has coeliac disease, had the pasta and didn't have any issues afterwards. That's the main thing for us.

Quick lunch spot. Bright and clean. Staff were really patient with my little one when he got fussy. Got my food fast, which is all I need on a short break. Solid for a quick bite.

My friend and I have eaten here 3 times in the last couple of months, drawn back by the 'buy one get one free main course' offer. Each time the staff have been excellent, friendly, helpful and we have thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Franco Manca offers a great atmosphere and delicious food. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a casual dinner.

Came for the buffet with a few friends. The space is really well-designed, with high ceilings and those big, comfortable booths. Felt relaxed just sitting there, even when it got busy. Food was fresh and had good variety.

First time here, went for the Chef's Special Breakfast. The eggs were fine, but the mushrooms were the star – really flavourful and buttery. Classic diner vibe, which I liked. Service was quick.
