Lovely beer garden with a view of the hills. The staff were really friendly, made us feel right at home. A proper country pub vibe, just what we were after for a lazy Sunday pint.

The pizzas were huge, easily enough for two. My partner and I shared one and still had leftovers. The steak was good, but honestly, the pizza portion was the real winner for the price.

Been coming here for years. The owners are always friendly and the food is reliably good. It's a proper local pub, not some trendy spot. Just a solid place for a pint and a meal.

The Sunday roast here is a solid choice. Good selection of meats, veggies cooked just right. Found a decent Malbec on the list that paired nicely with the beef. A bit busy, but that's to be expected.

Staff were really friendly. I asked for a custom sandwich and they made it exactly how I wanted, no fuss. Good to know they'll sort you out if you fancy something different.

Service was on point. Kaci, Sharon, and Tara were quick and friendly. Made our lunch break easy. Good for a quick bite.

Only open Friday and Saturday nights, so definitely book ahead. Menu's small but everything we tried was spot on. The lamb was cooked perfectly, really tender. Good value for the quality.

Got the large portion. Honestly, it's a lot of food for the price. Could barely finish it. Good quality too.

Been coming here for years, and that terrace view over the bay never gets old. Just a lovely spot for dinner on a summer evening.

Been coming here for years, and the chicken tikka curry is always spot on. Comes with rice, naan, and a poppadom. Still only takes about 15 minutes from ordering. That's what keeps me coming back.

A proper local pub, warm and inviting. The staff were friendly. Menu had a good variety, including daily specials. I appreciated their wine list – a decent selection of reds by the glass that paired well with the steak pie. A solid choice for a relaxed evening.

Been here a few times now. It's always spotless, which is nice. The owners are friendly, make you feel welcome. Just a comfortable, no-fuss place for a meal.

I've been a few times now. What keeps me coming back is how fresh the ingredients always taste. You can really tell the vegetables are crisp and the proteins are good quality. It feels like a proper, wholesome meal.

Service was efficient for our group of 8. The waitress was attentive, kept drinks topped up and handled the separate bills without fuss. Made a busy Friday dinner run smoothly.

The carrot cake was a generous slice and paired nicely with a cup of black coffee. The chocolate chip cookie was good, but a bit too sweet for my taste.

Spacious, clean, and comfortable. The orange colour scheme is quite nice. A solid spot for a relaxed business lunch. Service was efficient, food arrived promptly. The grilled sea bass was well-prepared. Good for a straightforward meal without fuss.

The fish pie was absolutely packed with flavour, really generous portion too. Just found the mash topping a bit too thick for my liking, but still a solid dish.

The homemade cakes and scones were lovely. I really appreciated how fresh everything tasted, you could tell the ingredients were good quality. The scone in particular was so light. A nice spot for a treat.

Lovely meal here! The service was decent, didn't have to wait ages for anything. Prices felt reasonable for what you get. I'd definitely swing by again.

Lovely cod and chips by the river. The batter was spot on, crispy and light. Fish was a good size, chips were decent too. Service was friendly. A bit pricey for what it is, but the sunny spot made it worthwhile.

First time here and the breakfast was a real find. The cooked breakfast is spot on, especially the local bacon and eggs. Just the right kind of fry-up to start the day.

Loved the maritime theme here, so many interesting artifacts to look at. The fish and chips were good, but what really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients. The peas were bright and the fish tasted very clean. A solid choice for a simple, well-made meal.

The mixed meat Sunday roast was a proper treat. The Yorkshire puddings were homemade and so fluffy, and the cauliflower cheese was spot on. A really good, hearty plate of food.

Sam was our waiter and honestly, he made the night. Just the right amount of attentive, and actually funny. A good server makes such a difference.

Sunday roast for a quick bite. Pork and crackling spot on, massive Yorkshire puddings. Got my food in under 10 minutes, which is a win for me. 👍

The service at Chewton Glen was exceptional, especially from our waitress Vicky, who made our evening feel special. The food exceeded our expectations, particularly the burgers and onion rings!

Great choice of cask ales. The staff really know their stuff and helped me pick one that wasn't too heavy. Perfect for a relaxed pint.

Cosy country pub with traditional aesthetic. Excellent service by welcoming staff. Outstanding food served promptly in generous portions. Friendly atmosphere among the patrons. Fantastic log fire lit during the winter. Highly recommend this pub for great food at a reasonable price, all served with a smile.
