This place is a hidden gem. Simple, though staff and food are just lovely. Coffee wasn&#39;t too bad either. Park anywhere on Railway Ave for short walk to the Cafe.We both had eggs on toast, one with mushrooms, one with Bacon &amp; avo. Eggs pretty much perfect.

Wed 27 Sep 23. Seven of us dined for dinner before seeing a show. We ordered s&amp;p calamari ($30), Chicken parma ($26), Parma special ($30), beef pie ($25), dips &amp; bread ($14), bowl of chips ($8) and the CommerMix platter ($35). All the meals were lovely and served in a timely manner. My chicken parma was one of the best I&#39;ve had. Enjoyed a bottle of the Oakridge Over The Shoulder Chardonnay for $44. Really enjoyable experience. Wait staff were very friendly too. Great work. Will return.

The new deck is such a vibe! Grabbed lunch there last week and spent the whole time watching the kangaroos on the golf course. The view alone makes it worth it. Food was decent, but honestly, I was just there for the scenery.

Grabbed a lamb burrito for a quick lunch. It was really tasty and came out fast. Exactly what I needed for a speedy bite between errands. Staff were polite and efficient.

Very cool place and I would love to go again. I&#39;d probably sit in a different area next time as inside and the bar/outdoor area looked a bit more vibey, but the front outdoor area was perfect to talk and laugh as loud as we wanted. The service was super friendly, humorous and professional and the food was moreish, delicately flavoured, and right-on. I am disappointed I did not find this place sooner!

Been coming here for years, and their house red is always just right. Not too warm, not too cold. Goes down easy with whatever I order. It&#39;s the one thing I know I can count on.

Sunday afternoon live music is a nice touch. Good spot for a burger and a beer.

The gingerbread cookies are the real star here. Perfectly spiced, chewy inside with a slight crisp. Came back the next day just for those! The croissant with jam was a nice surprise too.

Service was quick and friendly, no complaints there. Our mains arrived maybe 15 minutes after ordering, which was nice. Just felt a bit rushed overall, like they were trying to turn the table. Still, got us in and out for our lunch break.

We love Jashn! Always great food and we have branched out from our usual dishes and been super impressed with everything we have ordered. The whisky sours are fantastic, although like everywhere are expensive @ $22. Great service and individual requests always catered for. Jashn is our favourite restaurant in Torquay.

The staff were so kind to our little one. They brought him a little colouring sheet and crayons without us even asking. That small gesture made the whole evening feel so much easier and more relaxed. The food was good too, came out nice and quick.

Been stopping by this bakery every September for years. Their hot food is solid, but it&#39;s the cakes that get me. Always end up buying a couple because I can never pick just one.

Nice spot for a drink with that bridge view. Their outdoor area is dog-friendly, which is a bonus. The house white was a bit simple, but it paired alright with the salty sea air vibe.

We enjoyed the meal, the food, wine and service was excellent.  Especially as there had been a problem with our online booking.  There was a function in the actual restaurant but they set up a table in the bar by the window. We still had white tablecloths and table service.
