Came here for an early lunch around noon — kitchen was already running, which I appreciated. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. Sat near the window, decent view of the sea. Nothing fancy inside, but it felt comfortable enough to just hang out for a bit. Fine spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

The mussels are the real deal here. Tried the Flemish-style and the chorizo parmesan one—both were generous portions and pretty tasty. Comes with fries and salad, plus the dips were a nice extra. Place has a cozy, modern feel inside. Service was quick enough for a lunch break.

Pizza came out hot and quick, even though they had a huge takeout order going on. Staff stayed friendly the whole time. Solid spot.

Stopped by for dinner — the Dame Blanche was easily the best I’ve had. Carpaccio and pork medallions were solid too. Service was fine, though it took a bit to get the bill.

Nice terrace out back, QR menu in English was handy. Chicken wrap and goat cheese bread hit the spot. Kids liked the pond. Service was fine, nothing fancy.

Stopped by again on our way to Zeeland. Had the lobster, around 40 euros. Cooked just right, not rubbery at all. Portion felt fair for the price. Place was busy but we got a table easy enough. Solid choice if you're in the area and want seafood without the tourist markup.

Fresh fish, cooked right. Portion was big enough that I didn't need to order anything else. Plating looked decent too, not gonna lie. Quick service, in and out in 30 minutes. That's what I needed for a lunch break. Solid spot if you're nearby and hungry.

Stopped here on a whim while passing through Oostburg. The food was proper and well put together, you can tell they care about what they serve. Service was friendly without hovering. Only thing is the place is small, so it might get busy. Would come back if I'm in Zeeland again.

The terrace view over the marina is lovely. Food was solid and prices fair for the location. Staff friendly enough. Nice spot if you're around the water.

The wine pairing was well-priced, which I appreciated. Chef seemed genuinely friendly too. Solid for a two-star place.

The snails and lamb chops were honestly the best I've had this year. Hanna knew exactly what to suggest and made the whole evening fun.

The burger was solid. Good bun, decent meat, sauce worked. Cocktail list is short but they know what they're doing. Place gets busy fast, so don't expect a quiet meal. I'd come back for that burger again.

Surprise menu was solid. Chef knows what he's doing. Every plate came out clean, no fuss. Cozy spot, music was on point. Felt like a proper night out without trying too hard.

The tagliatelle al ragù was the real deal—properly rich and slow-cooked, not the watery stuff you usually get. I sat near the window and it felt pretty cozy, even if the chairs weren't the comfiest. Staff let me take my time with the menu, which I appreciated. Would go back just for that pasta.

Soup portions are generous for the price, and the bread and fruit on the side make it a decent lunch stop. A glass of their house white paired nicely with the broth, though nothing fancy. Solid pick if you're in Ghent and want something filling without breaking the bank.

The cheese fondue was solid and the place feels tucked away from the tourist crowds. Portion was big enough for two, though service took a bit. Cozy spot overall.

Central location and English menu made it easy. Prices fair for what you get. Cozy spot, though nothing fancy. Fine for a relaxed dinner.

Went for the meatballs, they were solid. Price is a bit steep, €18 or so for a plate, but you can tell they use good meat. Place was busy, had to wait a bit for a table. Not somewhere I'd go every week, but fine for a treat now and then.

Great place, great service and delicious food & wine. I'm really happy to have found the restaurant and dined there. It was definitely worth leaving the crowded city centre and walking for 25 minutes to Viva la Puglia:)

Solid spot for real Italian food. Had the rabbit pasta - generous portion, cooked just right. Menu's small but that's fine, means they focus on what they do.

Dropped in without expecting much. The steak came exactly as asked, proper brasserie feel. Portion was decent for the price, not crazy big but fair. Place was busy but not chaotic. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something straightforward. Maybe not a destination spot, but it does the job well.

The lamb shank was properly tender, fell right off the bone. Cozy spot, good for a chill dinner. Staff knew their menu when I asked for a recommendation. Only thing is the place gets a bit warm when it's busy. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something hearty.

Been coming here for a while now, and it’s still got that relaxed vibe. We brought our dachshund along, and they didn’t make a fuss—just brought water for him. The béarnaise sauce was fresh, not the packaged stuff. Dark ’n stormy hit the spot too. Place gets a bit loud later, but that’s on us for staying late.

Burgers were solid—saucy, messy, exactly what you want. Fries thick and proper. The Lindeman's Kriek on the side? Sweet cherry goodness. Service kept up even when it got busy.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Pizza was solid, crust had a good chew and the toppings weren't shy. Place fills up fast. Service dragged a bit, but I wasn't in a huge rush. Fine for a casual bite if you've got time to kill.

The Gentse Waterzooi hit the spot on a cold afternoon. Rich broth, tender chicken, just the right amount of comfort. Sat outside by the river, which was nice even if the breeze got a bit sharp. Service was fine, nothing flashy. Wouldn't mind coming back for that stew again.

Over 150 beers on the menu and the bartender actually knows his stuff. Feels like a mini beer lesson every time I stop in. Place is a bit tucked away, but that keeps it from getting too crowded.

Small menu but everything felt homemade, like someone actually cared about the cooking. The tea selection was a nice touch, and the desserts were solid. Would come back just for those.
