Cozy spot near campus with a nice vibe. The homemade iced tea was refreshing, and the local beers hit the spot. Seats were comfy enough to stay a while.

The Eton Mess here is seriously good—crushed meringue still has a bit of crunch, cream not too sweet. I sat on the terrace and it was nice for people-watching. Service was quick too. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price, but I’d still go back for that dessert.

The kids’ plates were actually decent sized, which never happens. We ordered the pasta and it came out hot, not lukewarm like most places. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Only thing, the place got a bit loud by the end, but that’s on us for coming at peak time. Solid family spot.

We came with the kids and they were super welcoming. Food was solid, nothing fancy but tasty. Service stayed patient even though the place was packed. Good spot if you're in the area with the family. Might get a bit loud, but that's on us for coming at peak time.

Decent spot for a meal. Food was fresh, flavors came through nicely. Staff friendly enough, no complaints there. Terrace is fine but you do get the occasional private jet noise taking off. Kind of adds to the vibe though, in a weird way. Pretty good overall for what it is.

Came for a quick lunch by the sea. Tomato shrimp was pretty generous, decent flavor. Service was fast, no complaints there. Bit pricey for what it is, but you're paying for the location I guess. Sat outside, breeze was nice. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're already in the area, it does the job.

Been coming here for years and the carbonade never disappoints. Still the best I've had in the center. Portions are solid too.

That sourdough bread is no joke. Crisp outside, soft inside, just bread and flour doing its thing. Had it with scrambled eggs and salmon, simple but so good. Wish the slice was a bit bigger though.

Nice spot right by the harbour. Sat outside on the boat, weather was perfect for it. Red velvet cake was solid, though I wished they had a better wine list to go with it. Coffee did the job.

We shared the tapas for two and left full, which was nice. The spot sits right in the town center, so you get a good breeze while you eat. Food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but solid. Place looks nice inside, comfortable chairs too. Service was fine, maybe a bit slow at first, but we weren't in a hurry. Pretty good for a casual meal.

Lovely spot by the water. Sat outside, breeze was nice. They even brought a bowl for our dog, that got me. Food was decent, nothing crazy but fine for a chill afternoon. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but the setting makes up for it. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The food and cocktails were good, and the bill felt fair compared to the main street spots. Staff were genuinely friendly, not the fake kind. We sat near the window, and the whole thing was just easy. No fuss, no waiting too long. I’d pop back in if I’m in the area again.

Lovely spot right by the water — the view alone is worth it. Food was good, though a bit pricey for what you get. Their homemade bread is a must though.

The passion fruit cake was really good—light and not too sweet. My friend got the brownie birthday cake and that one was solid too. Nice spot if you want something a bit different from regular ice cream. Place was pretty quiet when we went in the afternoon.

The surf burger was solid—juicy, well-seasoned, and worth the price. Outdoor seating was a nice bonus. Smoothie was okay, nothing special.

First time I came here the terrace was lovely and the staff really friendly, just the kitchen took a while. Second time during the fishing party things moved much faster. Nice spot to sit outside and not have to worry about anything.

Came here for an early lunch around noon — kitchen was already running, which I appreciated. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. Sat near the window, decent view of the sea. Nothing fancy inside, but it felt comfortable enough to just hang out for a bit. Fine spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

The mussels are the real deal here. Tried the Flemish-style and the chorizo parmesan one—both were generous portions and pretty tasty. Comes with fries and salad, plus the dips were a nice extra. Place has a cozy, modern feel inside. Service was quick enough for a lunch break.

Pizza came out hot and quick, even though they had a huge takeout order going on. Staff stayed friendly the whole time. Solid spot.

Nice terrace out back, QR menu in English was handy. Chicken wrap and goat cheese bread hit the spot. Kids liked the pond. Service was fine, nothing fancy.

Fresh fish, cooked right. Portion was big enough that I didn't need to order anything else. Plating looked decent too, not gonna lie. Quick service, in and out in 30 minutes. That's what I needed for a lunch break. Solid spot if you're nearby and hungry.

The wine pairing was well-priced, which I appreciated. Chef seemed genuinely friendly too. Solid for a two-star place.

The snails and lamb chops were honestly the best I've had this year. Hanna knew exactly what to suggest and made the whole evening fun.

The burger was solid. Good bun, decent meat, sauce worked. Cocktail list is short but they know what they're doing. Place gets busy fast, so don't expect a quiet meal. I'd come back for that burger again.

Soup portions are generous for the price, and the bread and fruit on the side make it a decent lunch stop. A glass of their house white paired nicely with the broth, though nothing fancy. Solid pick if you're in Ghent and want something filling without breaking the bank.

Central location and English menu made it easy. Prices fair for what you get. Cozy spot, though nothing fancy. Fine for a relaxed dinner.
