TheForkUserA lovely original restaurant, good service, and good food. It is quite expensive but worth it. We ate the gravalax salad - which was a surprise as in my head I'd imagined smoked salmon and it was raw salmon. The salmon rillettes were delicious. The other main was the veal which was superb.
TheForkUserFirst a nice welcome by the team. Place at the 5th floor with a sea view.Nice atmosphere. Professional staff.Very good meal and wines.Price = quality. Some people may say: too expensive. Not sure compared to the quality.I would recommend this place. Hope next time with some sun :-)
_TI***csI was impressed by the quality of the food at this restaurant. Everything is homemade, and the dishes are beautifully presented. A must-visit for anyone looking for a gourmet experience!
TheForkUserWe booked online and they were expecting us. We were greeted very warmly and well cared for. We are English and there was no problem with the language barrier. The food was great as was the decor and ambiance. The staff were teen/early twenties and seemed so very nice and friendly. My wife and I agreed that we left feeling great. We really enjoyed our experience and wouldn’t hesitate to return X
TheForkUserThe food was delicately prepared and beautifully presented, with well-balanced flavours. Service was good and overall value for money from the fixed-price menu was excellent. the restaurant lacks a lite in atmosphere, especially when it was not busy on a Tuesday evening.
_TI***2rThe restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere with original artwork and a varied seasonal menu. The foie gras with scallops is a must-try!
TheForkUserThis little restaurant was a great find.
TheForkUserIt was just a family evening with parents and a kid. They suggested a vegetarian meal for the kid despite the fact that they didn’t have anything vegetarian on the menu. The wine was fine, and the meal was amazing. Thank you guys!
TheForkUserVery friendly service - the restaurant was full but the staff were so friendly and helpful. Salad buffet was plentiful and delicious. Mains were reasonably priced. The house red was very quaffable
TheForkUserLove the guys at Le Diapason!
_TI***l7The ambiance is lovely, with a simple decor that complements the magnificent view. The food presentation is impressive, and the flavors are spot on.
TheForkUserBeautiful setting and view of the English Channel. Service was very attentive and the food was delicious.
TheForkUserGreat food great service... We reserved a spot for 18 people that did not speak much French and they did a wonderful job! Very patient and got all of the orders correct. Will definitely be back.
TheForkUserWe generally avoid eating at hotel restaurants but we decided to risk this one and we are very happy we did. The food was excellent, slightly original and well presented. The service was great and the price was very satisfactory.
TheForkUserSurprisingly good. Quality of food, presentation of food, sitting, drinks, service were all excellent. You can see they are working hard and are all very nice. A good place, highly recommended.
_TI***bnI had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a quiet evening. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our meal even more enjoyable.
TheForkUserAfter having lived for 2 years in the islands of the Indian Ocean I was really happy to find a little piece of it here on my plate and John the owner and cook made it as a true Creole Mauricien only even more real! Mo kontan zot cuizin ????
TheForkUserLe Botaniste was a place advised to us by a local chef. We were not disappointed! The setting is stunning, the reception friendly and very professional, the food surprising and excellent, with matching discovery wines presented by a perfect sommelier. In. short, A perfect dinner. So perfect that we decided to go back in the same week.
TheForkUserVery good diner on a Sunday night at this cosy and quiet restaurant. We sampled all the seasonal starters and they were all delicious. Price is right for this level of food quality. We will definitely come again.
TheForkUserThis restaurant epitomises the ambiance of Dauville, class, sophisticated and high end. The restaurant is pricy, so not for everyone's budget I'm afraid, but certainly worth it for those special occasions. If you like sea food you can expect high quality, extremely fresh produce, impeccably presented. The fish dishes are prepared to perfection by obviously top class chefs. The serving staff make you feel special without being to present and everything is well organised. If you are luck with the weather there is a protected terrasse between the restaurant and the sea. We were inside because of the inclement weather, but had a perfect view of the English channels and the sprawling Dauville beach.
TheForkUserCharming and delightful - excellent food and service in a laid back environment. Friendly and welcoming! We loved all the food and wine and found the menu to be curated and inviting.
TheForkUserStarters were ok, good the tripe, desserts below average. No English
