Stopped by for a quick drink and ended up staying longer than planned. The poncha was properly strong, not the watered-down tourist version. Bartender knew what he was doing. Prices felt fair for the area. Place has that real local vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Wish they had a bit more seating though, got busy around 10pm.

The view over the marina is really nice, especially around sunset. I had the octopus and it was cooked well, super tender. The garlic bread was a nice touch too, very local. Prices are a bit on the higher side but you're paying for the setting. Good spot to just sit back with a drink and watch the boats.

Stopped in for a poncha and ended up staying longer than planned. That drink was properly made—strong, citrusy, just right. The guy behind the bar knew his stuff and kept the good vibes going. Didn't try much food, but honestly the drink alone was worth the visit.

The fried corn was the standout. Crunchy, salty, exactly what I wanted. Bolo do caco was decent too, soft and warm. Didn't care much about the view or the staff, but the food did the job. Would've liked a bigger portion though.

Loved the grilled sardines here — super fresh and the portion was generous for the price. Owners were friendly too. Place has a nice local feel, nothing fancy but that's the charm.

Came for the live music, ended up staying way longer than planned. The beer list is solid and the cocktails were decent. Staff kept up pretty well even when the place got packed. Good spot if you're in the area and want somewhere with a bit of energy.

Eight taps and a fridge full of options, all well picked. Owner clearly knows their stuff and pointed me to a solid local IPA. Chill spot to hang for a bit.

Came back here again last time I was in Madeira. Marcelino still running the place, still singing karaoke mid-service. Espetada was as good as I remembered, meat cooked right. Homemade wine does the job too. Place gets busy so you might wait a bit, but that's fine. Consistent, that's why I keep coming.

The steak sandwich on bolo de caco was the only thing I cared about. Meat was juicy, bread had that slightly charred texture. Portion big enough that I didn't need anything else. Price fair for what you get. Place itself is whatever, but the sandwich does the job.

Stumbled in for a drink and ended up staying way longer than planned. The beer list is seriously impressive—three different Krieks on offer, which I never see. Staff actually know what they're talking about and pointed me to one I'd never tried before. Place has a nice laid-back vibe too, not too loud. Would go back just for the beer selection.

We enjoyed a lovely evening meal with garlicky limpets and octopus, paired with a nice glass of vino verde. The waiters were very entertaining!

The staff were really friendly, and I liked the wine list. But honestly, the stools are so uncomfortable. We didn't stay for a second bottle because of that. Cramped seating too. It's a shame, because the food looked good. Maybe better for a quick glass than a long evening.

The grilled steak with green pepper sauce was actually really good — cooked just how I asked and the sauce had a nice kick to it. Didn’t expect much from a random pick, but it hit the spot. Simple meal, no complaints. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but I’d come back for that steak.
