TheForkUserThe place is very nice, both the interior rooms and the exterior spaces. The welcome and the service are very pleasant and efficient. Maybe too fast, no time to take a break between two courses. On the other hand the inside room was noisy, that breaks a little the romantic atmosphere sought.The menu is interesting. In the starters and small appetizers: only very nice surprises. On the dishes: correct, beautiful portions. But... some associations of products/tastes are not successful. It is inventive but not surprising and sometimes a little strange. It lacks a gastronomic touch to the kitchen. We recommend for moments with family or friends. Less for gastronomic and romantic moments.

TheForkUserWhen we arrived for our 2000 reservation, it seemed they were not ready for us. No problem, we understand it is early in Spain. The venue is spectacular. I would say it’s like “farmy” with a modern chic feel. We loved the venue! The service was very good. We had several servers that were very nice to speak English for us, even though we were the ones that should speak Spanish. The food came out quick but there wasn’t much follow-up. Regarding the food - we had gyoza (they were spot on). We also had spicy edamame and they were fresh, spicy, and crisp. We had the Bobila Poke bowl and it was the star of the show. The mix of flavor from seaweed, avocado, rice, salmon, and even apple all went well together. We also had sushi. Unfortunately this is where I think things were not top notch. Most specifically with the salmon and tuna roll. Our tuna roll looked like my 7 year old daughter rolled it. There was very little fish, a lot of rice and one of the pieces had almost no tuna in it. The salmon roll was similar. The problem is the fish should be the star of the roll but it was the rice that was prevalent. I really felt let down with the sushi. That being said, the fish was fresh and the taste was spot on. If we return, we would probably eat every bit the sushi.

TheForkUserThis restaurant had a Nice ambiance but after waiting for 1,5 hours for our food it came to the table and was cold+ we missed 1 of the dishes. After complaining we waited another 30 minutes but there where still no new dishes. We asked for the bill and left.

Service is really good and professional special mention to the cook who is also an expert sommelier. Food is of first quality and original cooking. A must try is the dorada and the salmon and avocado timbal.

TheForkUserThe food and service was amazing and we would definitely go back next time we’re in Girona. Several staff members knew English but we still enjoyed practicing our Spanish! Not sure what the rating is low on The Fork as we loved the restaurant and Google rating with more reviews had it at a 4.1. Definitely get the beef family style, it was delicious.

TheForkUserThe restaurant offers a 30€ menu with a good choice of dishes. The tuna tartare was excellent. As main courses, we ordered the cod with garlic muslin and veal fillet. The garlic muslin was tasteless. The veal was already sliced and irregularly cooked. Some slices were more cooked than others. A dessert of Catalan cream was far too dense.The lady who welcomed us was very attentive.
