TheForkUserThis restaurant was an unexpected gem. The food was amazing. The service was great. We loved everything about it. We had a great table and really enjoyed our experience there!
TheForkUserThe meat was excellent. The bread, cheess and olive oil were great. Super dinner for cheap price.
TheForkUserGreat food and super staff in a fantastic location. Price is fair for the quality of the above. One of the best spigola we have ever eaten. We strongly recommend this place
TheForkUserA great experience in a superb gourmet restaurant, with all the characteristic of a starred Michelin spot. The ambient is modern and the food preparation represent the territory in a contemporary way. Each dish has an incredible balance where you can taste all the single ingredients. Service and sommelier are super professional and well prepared. I wish we can get back here soon
TheForkUserThis restaurant was really a great find. The dishes were excellent and the service superb. We also liked the very nice place and atmosphere. We will definitly come again.
TheForkUserWe (family of 5, two teenage boys and one adult son) came here for lunch the day before, were the only people in the restaurant and had a lovely meal. So we decided to come back the following day for dinner. When we arrived (having booked) we were taken not to the lovely, air conditioned restaurant in which we had eaten previously but to a horrid, very noisy outside terrace at the back of the building with a couple of fans trying vainly to keep diners cool. This wasn’t what we expected (or had booked) so we asked to move to the restaurant but we were told there were no tables available. It was only when we said that we were leaving that, miraculously, a table in the restaurant (that was not full) was found for us.Once in the restaurant, the food was superb and the service was excellent, as was the wine. It was a really good dining experience. But, for whatever reason we didn’t receive the complimentary amuse buche delivered to all other tables. This may be because we had booked through Fork with (supposedly) a 20% discount on food that was not in fact applied when the bill arrived. We didn’t book the restaurant because of the discount but because of the lovely lunch we had had the day before. So we paid the bill in full and left.Lovely as the food was, we would not go back to Laura’s. Very clearly, they only care about local diners and treat tourists with disdain. In a locality where there are so many wonderful restaurants that value ALL their diners from the start, I suggest you avoid Laura’s and eat elsewhere.
_TI***2uTre Olivi is a culinary gem in Campania. The combination of high-quality ingredients and creative dishes makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a memorable dining experience.
TheForkUserReally good food and nice atmosphere
TheForkUserWe went the other evening, there were 6 of us, we are Americans, we had a really good time, the food was very good, the place was wonderful and top, it felt like being in Dubai... very clean, the manager is very polite gentlemen, he made us feel at home he lived in Los Angeles then we spoke English he seemed American It's very coolThanks
TheForkUserWonderful choice of fine wines. Ask for recommendation. We had an excellent Taurasi wine.Inspired local cuisine. Maybe too many perfumes on the plate. Ex: coffee, mustard and boletus. Sometimes a little too much. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
TheForkUserIncredibly good everything! It smells and tastes wonderful. We were served by Andrea and she was a delight. She could speak Spanish so she helped us with the choice of the menu. When we return to Salerno, we won't hesitate to eat here again.Thank you for the kindness and the delicious dinner.Thank you very much :D
TheForkUserWe have travelled many countries and different parts of Italy. We've been here three times and it's the best pizza we've ever had. I literally had tears in my eyes when sampling the Diavola.
TheForkUserTop quality food, the seafood dishes were so tasty and well presented. Staff was so nice and friendly. The outdoor terrace was a great setting to enjoy the warm weather. Special mention to the limoncello: delicious.
TheForkUserIncredible location, food and service. This was our second time visiting here and everything was incredible. We will be back again next year! Highly recommend the tasting menu!
TheForkUserThe main course, seared Tuna, came first completely overcooked, so send back to the kitshen…. When it came twice it was not fresh fish, smelled terrible. When I told the staff, they played very upset and even showed a movie that the fish was catched that same morning…… but it was 100% sure not fresh and from a frozen fish…… In the mean time my partner had eaten….so we left the restaurant. By rhe way, the english menu card was just cheap printed paper, used by many more guest and full with stains and cracked. So, overall a not good experience….. not to recommend
TheForkUserThat atmosphere was wonderful, the staff and service was excellent, the food was outstanding and the drinks were superior. It was on the pricey side but well worth it for a special occasion.
TheForkUserStaff were very helpful and welcoming! They gave us a restaurant card to put in our car so we could park in the nearby parking. Food was amazing and good value for money!
TheForkUserAn evening at Il Pirata is enchanting. The lovely grotto bar and tables terraced a few feet above the water create a beguiling ambience. The food and service is superlative. Truly one of my finest dining experiences!
TheForkUserA delightful restaurant with delightful service. Great pastas and wine at reasonable prices. If we lived here, this would be our “Cheers”.
TheForkUserWhat a wonderful lunch! The food, staff and ambience were 1st class. We ate the freshest seafood and our turbot in lemon sauce was superb, accompanied with a fantastic wine recommendation. The dessert and digestif to fInish just added another level of excellence . A definite stop on a trip to Amalfi
TheForkUserWe ate at Il Gozzo a few years ago when we visited Salerno and loved it! We just went back and it was as good as the first time! Great ambiance, wonderful service, and excellent food!
TheForkUserThis little restaurant on a busy street in Salerno is a typical Italian local place with great seafood and pasta options. The staff are very friendly and keen to ensure you have a good meal. No paper menus, so take a phone to access the digital qr code menu. Also helps if you understand Italian.
TheForkUserWhat a meal! Enjoyed a delicious 10 course tasting menu for only 40 euros. The staff was great and had time to talk to the chef after almost every course. The yellow pepper course was our favorite followed closely by the cheese course. The octopus soup was incredible! Olive oil ice cream was simple yet complex. Loved everything about this meal! I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I did.
TheForkUserIt is not easy to find because it is the restaurant of a hotel. The food was really good and the service as well.
