_TI***fvThis cozy restaurant is a great stopping point for those exploring the Capalbio and Maremma areas, offering a chance to sample authentic Tuscan flavors.
TheForkUserWe stayed at the hotel attached to the Horta restaurant the night before our cruise. the food and service was excellent. we would dine here again
TheForkUserThe atmosphere, service, quality of the food were all excellent. We especially appreciated the waiter's patience with our limited Italian. In total our experience here was excellent and we'll dine here again the next we're in Grosseto.
TheForkUserGreat atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food is ok nothing that will blow you away.
TheForkUserNice place obviously specialising in meat dishes. Tartare was absolutely wonderful, tagliata slightly less so — tasty but nothing to write home about. Pork ribs was ok. As desert we had chocolate and rhum gelato — now THAT was quite something! All in all, a pleasant experience.
TheForkUserVery thought out Italian cuisine. Somehow fancy & rustic. Everything was amazing including the sunset off the hillside of Tarquinia.
TheForkUserIncredible food, wonderful service and the garden was perfect. I would highly recommend!
TheForkUserWent for lunch. Loved it. Went back with friends for dinner a few days later. All dishes excellent including amazing sea food specials. The appetizers are large and enough for two. They split it for you. Very friendly family owners with good English
TheForkUserThere ist one word to define it FANTASTICO!We have been here twice, because we love this restaurant. Service, quality of food, wine list and the unbeleavable view fron the terrace ist UNFORGETABLE!Whenever we will return to Il Caveau, be sure we will be back - Grazie de tutto, the Austrians
TheForkUserThe bistro has a good vibe, warm and cozy. We ordered a terrific Bruni Syrah (recommended by the staff) and the chef delivered our appetizer called “cacio e pepe” but completely different from the pasta of the same name. We ordered the duck with greens and spaghetti with red shrimp crudo. You can tell the chef cares about his creations. Everything was amazing! I only wish we had stayed for dessert.
TheForkUserThe pork special with pasta, as well as the mixed grill & wonderful roast potatoes, were all equally good, along with the delicious Rossi di Montalcino red house wine. You can’t go wrong with house wine this good!
TheForkUserAnother beautiful restaurant on a very lovely if not exclusive property. Incredible views and service and prices to match.
TheForkUserVery nice restaurant close to the harbor. Top food and also top people! I'd have loved to spend more time in the area but we only went there for the day. Next time ,-)
_TI***k4The ambiance of this restaurant is truly charming, with a warm welcome from the staff. The meat dishes are superb, and the wine selection is impressive, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner.
TheForkUserEccellente! Food tasted fresh and amazing. Great friendly service. Clean, simple restaurant, like a family meal, finished with cookie and custard with coffee. Very accomodating with gluten allergy. Nice treat for Laurel liqueur at end too. Would be happy to return.
TheForkUserGreat food, really pretty too! Service was perfect. Also, lots of attention paid to dietary requirements, including gluten and lactose free meals.
TheForkUserA beautifully designed place, an innovative choice of dishes, great quality of ingredients and variety of taste! The service personnel very professional, friendly and knowledgeable, true gentlemen. A nicely adapted wine list at a reasonable pricing. Overall, A wonderful experience! Try out when in Grosseto!
TheForkUserSuper hosts. Nice to sit in Quiet garden. Food was worth the price.
TheForkUserAmazing place!Exceptional food, personalised service, wonderful views and great value!Excellent wine choice too, with sone local jewels like the Biancatico.Very very vkeab, lovely ambience.Absolutely worth a trip even from a distance.Highly recommended!
TheForkUserThe location is really nice, elegant and relaxing. The pasta was a bit to al dente but the two chef’s recommendations for the day were very particular and tasty. Would recommend even though it’s a bit expensive, understandable since it is the restaurant of a pretty nice hotel.
TheForkUserThe best thing about Maremma Pig is the pizza, they are all very good! The service is fast but average quality and unfortunately inside the exhaust does not work properly so you can smell the fry and it sticks to your clothes.
_TI***znThis restaurant is a hidden gem with a simple yet charming vibe. The homemade pasta and friendly service create a truly enjoyable dining experience.
