TheForkUserWe were so happy to find a great restaurant close to our neighborhood hotel. We were running late for our reservation because of traffic from Train station to the Hotel first as planned. We called the restaurant and they assured us it would not be a problem to store our luggage, so we could go directly to the Restaurant first. ???? When we arrived we were immediately seated and our luggage was taken and stored. It is the service and attention that was so important. And of course the food was impeccable.Le Marly

The beef carpaccio was livened with Asian flavors and the foie gras a superb terrine with a compote of onions. The main courses all delicious including the angus aged entrecôte and the fettuccini a la truffle.We were so delighted with the dishes we had to try the desserts which were not a disappointment!! The chocolate dessert was heaven as was the pineapple/mango coconut dessert. The staff was a bit flustered because of a shortage of help but they managed in a very professional manner. TheForkUserWe absolutely adore this place and have been there many times, however this time we had a reservation which was confirmed for 145 on Tuesday, August 30 and drove all the way there from our home in Paris only to find everything closed up and no one around. We were very very disappointed and it was very late and we had no idea where else we could go that would be open at that time and ended up eating in a café in Rambouillet, mediocre to say the least. We would like a personal contact from the restaurant to assure us that the next time they give us a reservation confirmation that they are indeed going to be there. Thank you very much for asking.
