TheForkUserService was great. i could practice a bit my japanese with them. The products were high quality (real japanese rice and delicious うなぎ). also i appreciated the large choice of japanese saké and the fact they respect at which température to drink them case by case. some were to be cold, other chamber and other hot.
TheForkUserGreat atmosphere and some excellent little dishes. Super friendly staff and quick service. The artichoke and goats cheese lasagne is definitely worth a try!
TheForkUserAs always the food, service and ambiance was excellent. Every dish was delicious—our favorites include the xiao long bao dumplings, aubergine rolls (aubergine laqué) with crispy rice and pork floss , the steamed scallops with black bean and chilies on vermicelli, the braised oxtail… we love the Peking duck but skipped it in order to have space to try other dishes!
TheForkUserJust a fabulous restaurant! great food, lovely staff and decor. It's a our second visit and we will definitely eat here again.
_TI***2gIl Carpaccio is a fine dining gem in Paris, offering sophisticated Italian dishes. The attention to detail in both the food and service made for an unforgettable dining experience.
TheForkUserNice restaurant in Le Marais - Paris. Good atmosphere and service. Great (typical French food) accompanied with great wines!
TheForkUserThe crepes were good but the galettes were especially delicious along with the cider. Staff very friendly and attentive. We ate outside on the lovely terrace on the quiet street. Very enjoyableand recommended!
TheForkUserThe spit-fired concept was outstanding. All of the sides, but especially the turnips, were incredibly delicious. 10/10 in our book!
TheForkUserAu Rocher de Cancale is that neighborhood restaurant that you go to for comfort food. Whether it's for perfect huitres and crevettes roses or onion soup or the most amazing smoked chicken with pasta and cepes sauce. The place is nearly always packed, and yet the service is solid at the craziest times. Plus, great cocktails and solid advice on wine to pair with your dish.
TheForkUserRoom has a glass ceiling by G. Eiffel w/ adjoining copper lined celebrity private room (Bee Gees etc). Set meal is spring-themed French Sicilian fusion. Octopus carpaccio plate to start & it opens the palate wonderfully. Thinly sliced cooked pulpo with citrus confit, pomegranate & pea pod tip with tiny avocado cubes; White fish with crispy skin just right & not greasy with pea puréed sauce, tiny clams & roasted broccoli; Barbecued flank steak topped with au jus (meat sauce) with beets, strawberry & pomegranate for the red sweet contrast & tips of fresh pea plants for greens. Strawberry sweetness hits the front palate then recedes into background. The beet purée then commands the field . Steak a little tough but good flavor. Dried yogurt granules are lightly sweetened, grapefruit is added to the yogurt mousse (ice cream consistency) with sponge cake as a base. You have to assemble it on the side of the dish for flavors to pop out. Vermentino; Viognier; Carignan pairing
TheForkUserVery flavorful dishes. We had good portions of delicious vegetables s d some fish n meats that complemented each other well.Highly recommend to go try this cuisine. A lot of vegetables were done in ways that highlighted its flavor
TheForkUserSuch a great find. The dishes were very creative and delicious. Service was superb! And the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!
TheForkUserYes cozy & comfortable. This restaurant is a carnivore’s dream. With delicious complimentary sauces and vegetables. So different, but strong; the aromas, the taste, the presentation. No reason for us to leave THE 8th - it’s here.
TheForkUserFood presentation was goodBut the taste was so average They gave us a table in the door way ... we got so cold each time someone get inside the restaurant... I basically kept my coat ...and we had a small baby ...they refused to change us to another table even if the restaurant was empty ! Not good experience to be honest
TheForkUserThe food was amazing. We were lucky enough to sit near the kitchen and it’s a great show watching the staff. Prepare the meals. The tasting menu was perfectly staged and each dish exceeded the next in both taste and aesthetics. The sommelier has a tremendous understanding of the wine list and was very accommodating to work within a specific budget. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Paris
TheForkUserA nice place.During the winter day , the sunshine from the windows is a big plus m.Friendly staff and nice food.Providing English service is very helpful.
TheForkUserThe restaurant was meticulously designed, offering an exceptional dining experience. The culinary offerings were not only delectable but also of the highest quality, showcasing a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The staff’s exceptional courtesy and attentiveness further elevated the overall ambiance, ensuring that each guest’s needs were met with utmost care. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience.
TheForkUserBest restaurant in the area, with a friendly boss and relaxing vibe. You might stay more longer than you imagined, keep at least a two-hour slot.
TheForkUserWe were both very happy, with our delicious traditional Italian meals. The staff and super polite and friendly, with lovely Italian accents ! I recommend this restaurant, merci 🙏
TheForkUserSome of the best service we had in Paris. The staff is kind, friendly, multilingual, and really good at their job. It’s great if you want a quick meal or if you just want to take your time. We never felt rushed, but always felt attended to. The discount is, of course, an incredible part of this. It’s the best deal in Paris for sushi. We ate here twice on our trip and look forward to coming back already. Super high-quality fish and highly recommend!!
TheForkUserQuiet restaurant and pleasant staff, but the food was the best part. Healthy and delicious, not too spicy but extra harissa was served to use as you like. The egg appetizer (brick) shouldn’t be skipped.
