This small town, nicknamed "Moon City," boasts lake views rivaling Erhai Lake, intoxicatingly fragrant brazier barbecue, and crucially, it's budget-friendly and not crowded. Save this guide for your nanny! 👇 🌿3-Day, 2-Night Lazy Itinerary: Relax and Enjoy Without Detours Day 1: Wandering Around Qionghai Lake, Enjoying the Highland Lake View Upon arrival, head to a Qionghai B&B. For just over 180 yuan, you can stay in a room just a three-minute walk from the lake. After dropping off your luggage, rent an electric scooter (40 yuan/day) and start exploring the lake. • Diaoyutai is a must-see! Water chestnuts spread across the lake like green silk. Rounding the corner of a boat, you'll stumble upon a lotus pond. Wearing a white dress will make for a truly stunning photo. • In the evening, head straight to Jinlin Beach. Food stalls in Xichang that would make me cry if they closed down...😭 - These restaurants are truly delicious! I've been to every one of them at least three times! ↓↓↓ 1⃣ Braised Pond BBQ How can you go to Xichang and not try braised pond BBQ? I found a random street vendor and they were all delicious, with fresh gravy! 2⃣ Liangshan Burger Cut the potatoes in half and sprinkle evenly with chili powder and zheergen. I wouldn't trade them for the meat! It's so delicious!! 3⃣ Yangang Restaurant The shredded eel is incredible! They have a four-piece set menu you can order straight away, and not a single dish was disappointing! Every dish was perfect with rice! 4⃣ Huili Shredded Chicken The broth was incredibly delicious, and the rice noodles were topped with shredded ham, chicken, and cabbage. It was a truly satisfying meal. 5⃣ Oatmeal Wine You can smell the rich, alluring aroma from afar. It tastes like a hint of rice wine, a bit like oats, and has a complex, chewy texture. 6⃣ Handmade Ice Jelly Drinking ice jelly in winter is so refreshing! It's all handmade by the auntie, and it's not too sweet. The addition of fermented glutinous rice is truly delicious! 7⃣ Fat Brother's Skewers In addition to the skewers, I also tried other snacks: rice rolls covered in chili oil, which were delicious! The oil tea was also quite to my liking! 8⃣ Sister Luo's Handmade Jelly This is rice jelly, a large and thick sheet.
