TheForkUserThe restaurant is beautifully set out and furnished. The food was excellent, with plenty of interesting choices based on local ingredients. The portion sizes were generous and service very attentive.
TheForkUserFriendly service and, once again, tasty pizza, we'll be back!!
_TI***l4I highly recommend the authentic Neapolitan pizza here; it's delicious and the staff is friendly and professional.
TheForkUserWelcoming staff who definitely care about what they do and about how guests feel. Great quality food with all local produce, home made bread. They take food and wine seriously, the wine list is full of interesting stuff and prices very reasonable when checked against the internet.Ignore reviews that mention a long wait, what we experienced were times you’d expect for something to be made fresh, nothing more. Recommend the green salad which didn’t appear on the menu but was absolutely delicious - with fennel and various leaves.Restaurant has a great spirit - our nicest evening in Umbria so far.
TheForkUserThe location was absolutely beautiful. The service and the welcoming was great. We really enjoyed our dinner. Excellent food and wine.
TheForkUserThis cozy, romantic, hidden gem of a restaurant has it all! Great owner/operator, a unique menu offering many seafood options, high quality food, friendly/professional staff, beautiful atmosphere inside and out with a terrace, and a location that is off the heavily congested main street through the city. This is a definite "must go" retaurante!
TheForkUserWe recently had dinner with friends on the outdoor covered patio which is a beautiful setting. The service was extremely attentive and the food was wonderful!
TheForkUseralways use Fork when booking restaurants in unfamiliar areas, and I’ve never had a bad experience. Today, I needed a place near Chiusi while on a drive and discovered this little gem.The steak was cooked to perfection, and though my appetizer of pappa al pomodoro (tomato bread soup) was tasty, it ended up being a bit too much for me and was part warmpart cold which threw me. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cavolo (Italian cabbage) with turmeric—a delightful and unexpected addition to their menu.”
TheForkUserIf you want to enjoy top gourmet meatballs this is the place. Excellent ingredients, cosy ambience and very nice staff will create the perfect relaxing match for a dinner for two or with friends.
TheForkUserHidden gem in a quiet corner of Orvieto, serving excellent seafood and several dishes of the neapolitan culinary tradition. The service is very efficient and friendly and the owner was exceptionally nice to us. Prices are also very reasonable. The only disappointment was that they do not serve pizza at lunch time.
TheForkUserThe dinner was quite good. I had the salmon tartare with Venus rice and avocado which was excellent. The grilled sea bass was excellent. The whole fish was grilled but they filleted it for you after upon request. My husband ordered the fixed menu. His Risotto was heavy and a large portion was served. There was one mussel and two scallops on the top. Very rich a large serving for his primo. He ordered the pork and potatoes which he enjoyed a great deal. Then he ended his meal with tirimisu, which was delicious. The service was lacking. It took us quite a while to get seated even though we had reservations and the dining room was pretty empty. There was no waiter out in the dining room for quite some time and one of the hotel employees came from the lobby bar to assist. One waiter was on for the whole evening service. Once the girl from the lobby helped, the server could catch up and he was quite nice. Definitely worth the trip!
TheForkUserThis is our second trip to Orvieto and Cantina Foresi. They are perfectly situated, adjacent to the Duomo. The owners and staff were very attentive and everything we tried was delightful. Pasta, panini, soup, salad, crostini, salume and cheese platter...Their own, delicious wines were a perfect accompaniment to our lunch and dinner outings. Delicious food in a beautiful setting.
TheForkUserFood was good but not special, portions were large and prices correct but not super-cheap. Overall, good for a one-time stop on the road near Orvieto, but nothing to write home about.
TheForkUserAll was great, food is tasty, service is welcoming and they showed us their etruscans old cave. We satisfied of our visit.
_TI***f1This restaurant offers a fantastic selection of dishes, with the pici and tiramisu being a standout at a very reasonable price of €23.
_TI***bnThis restaurant offers a unique blend of traditional Tuscan cuisine with a modern twist. The pici al ragù was outstanding, and the homemade desserts were a delightful finish to the meal.
TheForkUserWe enjoyed a very excellent meal in this friendly local restaurant. We plan to return before the end of our time here.
TheForkUserVery nice restaurant, in the Bagnoregio's borgo. Genuine and good quality food, outstanding service and kind, professional staff.
TheForkUserWe were really impressed with all aspects of this restaurant. The food was of the highest quality and the service was impeccable.
TheForkUserWe enjoyed a lovely relaxed lunch at Panatella on a beautiful Spring day. Service was excellent and so helpful as one diner required guidance for gluten free options. It genuinely was one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy … my soft egg entree was perfectly seasoned and silky smooth - the beef cheek with carrot puree secondi .. melt in the mouth, tasty and a perfect balance with its accompanying bitter chicory side.Dessert - decadent and chocolatey. With a backdrop of Umbrian rolling hills and Orvieto in the distance - it’s a lovely day trip to an authentic hilltop town. We’ll be back often to sample the rest of the menu!
_TI***p9This family-run trattoria offers a homely atmosphere with generous portions of authentic local cuisine. The Florentine steak and grilled lamb were particularly outstanding!
_TI***rrA charming family-run trattoria that feels like home. The authentic regional dishes are delicious, and the hospitality from the owners makes the experience even more special.
TheForkUserOnce the foodies and the instagrammers turn this into Da Enzo in Rome it’s going to be even harder to snag a table so I’ll just say this restaurant is the perfect combination of lovely ambiance, exceptional quality and great value
_TI***jtI had an amazing dinner with my family at this restaurant. The carbonara was a hit with my daughters, and I thoroughly enjoyed the beef burger. The service was quick and the staff were courteous and respectful.
TheForkUserThe place is run by an elderly couple at the front of house, and an equally not so young waiter. Everything is clean, neat, and cared for. The waiter treats all the clients like royalty - however much they spend. The food portions of the tourist menu are a little small if you're a big eater, but in fact they are just right and of good quality. The house wine was decent too. Wait time was the only sore point for us.
_TI***d8The ambiance of this restaurant is charming, with traditional decor and delicious first courses priced around €8-9. Just be prepared for limited seating.
