TheForkUserOwner managed (8 generations!) property and restaurant. Amazing attention to detail. Service was impeccable, menu was creative and food execution was very good. David, who is the owner was happy to accommodate special requests and offered great ideas on how to execute them. The Syrah from own vineyard was a nice wine to accommodate our lunch. The atmosphere was special. We loved it. The next visit to the restaurant will include a stay at the amazing rooms.
_TI***nxIl Baldo is a gem for lunch in Perugia! The tagliata was fantastic, and the service is always top-notch. I can't wait to return!
TheForkUserA lovely and delicious lunch. Roasted rabbit was particularly good as was the labyrinth starter that included many small tastes. The tour of the Etruscan ruins underneath was a stunning surprise. Very pleasant.
TheForkUserThis restaurant must’ve been the best I’ve ever visited. The ambience was excellent the service top class and the food well can I say to die for. The service went above and beyond as we have two disabled children who were treat with such care. Would highly recommend

TheForkUserWe were surprised by the delicious food, the peace and the atmosphere. we especially enjoyed the steak tartare (highly recommended), the risotto and the chocolate dessert. The only thing we liked less was the licorice flavor of the crème brulée. But that's a matter of taste, we prefer the classic variant. But we would absolutely love to come back!
TheForkUserWe booked a quick lunch here during our stay in Tuscany. Even though we weren’t very hungry, the pizza was still incredible! The food was delicious and refreshing, and the staff was very friendly. It is in a somewhat busy part of Montepulciano, so be sure to sit inside if you don’t want any noise or traffic. Otherwise, we had a perfect experience here!
TheForkUserHad a lovely 3 course dinner with the family. Very nice ambience. Attentive staff and good value for money. We will be back to enjoy the outside space in the Summer.
TheForkUserWe booked this only 20 mins before arriving for Sunday lunch. We sat outside with a good view of the Umbrian countryside. To start we shared octopus and potatoes and then both chose the lobster pasta. The starter was good and the main spectacular. The dish came with half a lobster in shell with the pasta in a rich seafood sauce. Will will definitely come back.
TheForkUserThe setting is amazing, a gorgeous villa situated at the top of a cypress tree lined drive with stunning views. The food quality is excellent and the staff friendly and courteous. They serve their own produced wines and olive oil with the meal.A real gem and well worth the visit.
TheForkUserRealy Nice place with a perfect view and a perfect diner
TheForkUserWe have somehow managed to omit L'Oliveto from our itinerary over the years. We have finally made amends, and it was spectacular! From the greeting to the seating to the eating, all was better than expected. The steak was delicious, tender, tasty. Highly recommended! The wine list is pretty extensive, focusing on the Strada Vino d'Orcia, and includes some truly rare bottles. All in all, good times indeed!
TheForkUserExcellent food and service. Their home-grown / home-made olive oil is fantastic and available for purchase. A great lunch experience in this beautiful town.
TheForkUserThe restaurant have good location and fantastic service Highly recommended
_TI***14Highly recommended for its authentic Tuscan cuisine! The tortelli with truffles and tagliata were delicious, and the portions were generous.
TheForkUserExcellent food as always - good quality ingredients and choice, not just a bowl of average pasta as in some other restaurants. Great location and stunning views. Will return and definitely recommend.
