Meat was exceptional. Had a large group, service handled it well. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

The Black Forest cherry cake was the highlight&mdash;easily the best I&#39;ve had around Bad Krozingen. The retro 50s/60s decor fits the place nicely. Service was friendly too.

The tapas were decent &mdash; mushrooms as a starter stood out, fresh and well seasoned. Garden seating was nice for a warm evening. Staff friendly enough, though service slowed a bit later on. Pretty good spot if you&#39;re in the area and want something light.

We just stopped in for a drink. The staff was so friendly and found us a comfortable table right away. A really nice, relaxed spot to take a break.

The tasting menu had some real highlights. The venison course was the one I kept thinking about afterwards&mdash;cooked perfectly, deep flavor. Wine pairing matched well too. A couple of dishes felt slightly overcomplicated, but nothing ruined the meal. If you focus on the food itself, this place delivers. I&#39;d go back just for that venison.

The Christmas decorations really made the baroque interior feel like a fantasy world. It was a nice, magical setting for the meal.
