Breakfast was spot on and the service was friendly. Good value for a quick morning meal.

Been coming here for years. Had the squeeze burger with the vegan bacon and cheese. Honestly, you wouldn't know it wasn't meat. Really tasty, one of the better burgers around here.

Came for dinner last night. The portions are huge - my partner and I shared a main and still had leftovers. Honestly, the amount of food you get for the price is spot on.

The view from the beer garden is lovely, looking out over the Dee estuary. Great spot for a sunny afternoon pint.

The full Welsh breakfast came out so fast before our hike. Perfect timing!

The staff were very attentive and helpful. They recommended a couple of dishes and got the spice level just right for us. Service was efficient without being rushed.

Service was efficient and friendly, they clearly know their stuff. Appreciated the dog-friendly policy, made a quick lunch stop easy.

The mango lassi is a great find in Chester. The place has a really relaxed, welcoming vibe too.

Love a proper pub without TVs blaring. The real ale selection is huge, had a lovely pint of their house bitter. Perfect spot for a proper chat over a pint.

Great old building, really nice atmosphere. Had a couple of Joules ales, they were spot on. Just what you want for a quiet pint and some decent food.

The view of the Shropshire hills from the ceremony spot is really something. Got some lovely photos.

Nice spot for a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of space and the cocktails were on offer. Staff were friendly.

The homemade cakes and bread are definitely the star here. Had a slice of the lemon drizzle cake and it was so fresh, clearly baked on-site. You can just tell the difference. The bread for my sandwich was fantastic too.

The soups are the real star here, honestly. I got the lentil soup and it was so hearty and flavourful. Ended up with a whole extra portion for lunch the next day, which was a nice bonus.

Food's always spot on, never had a bad bite. A bit pricey, but you can taste the fresh stuff. Perfect for a nice catch-up with mates.

The sandwiches and toasties are the real deal here. Generous fillings, toasted just right. Had a curry too, it was tasty but the toasties stole the show for me. Good coffee, decent service. Solid spot for a quick, satisfying bite.

Been coming here for years. The stone vaults in the crypt never get old – feels like you've slipped back in time the moment you walk in. Just the right spot for a quiet pint.
