Cosy little family-run place. The menu's massive, had a tough time choosing! Ended up with the chocolate torte for dessert - that was the highlight for me. Staff were dead friendly.

Been coming here for years with our dog, and the staff are always so welcoming. It's a nice spot for a family meal.

The three-course lunch was lovely. The dining room is so bright and airy, with big windows and those lovely high ceilings. It just feels like a really pleasant, relaxed space to enjoy a meal.

Nice spot for a pint right by the falls. The beer garden is a proper treat after a walk. Had a local ale, decent and refreshing. Just what you need.

Lovely breakfast in the village. The staff were so friendly and quick, always smiling. Just what I needed to start the day.

The Sunday roast was the main event. Beef was tender, gravy rich, and the Yorkshire pudding was spot on. Good portion for the price. The roast potatoes could have been crispier, but that's a minor thing.

Came here with a group of friends for a catch-up. It was packed but the staff were still so lovely and attentive, which made the whole evening really relaxed. Food was gorgeous, especially the sharing platter we got. A bit on the pricier side, but nice for a treat.

A lovely, cosy spot in the centre of town. The bartender was so friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole visit feel very relaxed. The atmosphere was just right for a quiet drink.

The cod and chips were nice, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The spicy veg vegan oggie was so good! Perfect for grabbing a bite with friends. They have loads of different fillings and scotch egg flavours to try.

Pork belly bites with the pickled red onion were the star. Flat iron steak was spot on. Just a really good meal.

Service was efficient. Bella was notably friendly and cleared our tray after we finished. Staff overall were attentive without being intrusive. Good for a quick business lunch.

Popped in for a Sunday lunch. The sharing board with a glass of red was just right for a lazy afternoon. Staff were really nice. Might stop by again if I'm back in Chester.

The shawarma plate is always solid, but honestly, I keep coming back for the Victoria sponge cake. It's just the right kind of simple and comforting. A nice little treat after a long day.

Solid pierogi spot. The mixed platter is a sensible choice to try the varieties. The owner is approachable and checks on tables. Good for a straightforward meal near the station.

The staff here are lovely. They were so attentive, even helped us pick a wine that went perfectly with our meal. Really made the evening feel relaxed and taken care of.

Hattie was a gem, really looked after us. The chicken gyros was tasty, and she suggested a lovely crisp white wine that went perfectly with it.

The sofa seating is just so comfortable. Spent a good couple of hours there and didn't feel like leaving. The fries were crispy and a generous portion, too.

Stopped in after a long walk on the trails nearby. The blueberry and clotted cream ice cream really hit the spot. Not too sweet, just right. Good portion for the price.

The hot drinks menu is really good, and the whole place just feels cosy. It was packed when we went, but we only waited a few minutes for a table. Perfect spot for a warm-up.

Lovely spot for afternoon tea. The scones were fresh, and the sandwiches had a nice variety. Staff were friendly, though it's a bit of a hassle that they only take cash. Had to pop out to find an ATM.

The coffee here is fantastic - rich and smooth, with a lovely crema on top. It's the kind that makes you want to linger over a second cup. The staff are really friendly too, which just adds to the relaxed vibe.

The cheese and pickle sandwich was really nice. Decent portion size too. Staff were friendly and helpful. A solid, simple lunch spot.
