TheForkUserI have not enjoyed a meal so much for a long time. There was imagination, adventure and respect for quality ingredients in the 98 euro menu, with at least three stand-out courses. One, the St Pierre (John Dory) was exceptional and reminded me of visits to Gordon Ramsey in his prime. If a couple of dishes worked slightly less well - the chapon, in particular - it did not detract from the overall experience. Service was superb throughout. My wine choice was a joy and all credit to La Serre for being early adopters of Gigondas blanc. We genuinely can’t wait to go back next year to try this example of French restaurant skills at their (almost) finest. Walking distance of the town centre too…Restaurant Hotel de la Marne

TheForkUserWe had the Menu Pempoull and really enjoyed it. The mackerel starter was weakest part but a good job was made of an ordinary fish. The quail main course and the dessert were both sublime. We had the menu Aodou an Arvor previously as while it was also very good the food we got from the Pempoull menu was really top class and amongst the best meals we ever got in Paimpol or anywhere else for that matter.La Suite

Our duck was delicious and served with an unusually generous vegetable selection for this part of the world.
