TheForkUserI visit the Plough and Harrow Walsall regularly but today I went with my Yum Yum 50% discount with friends having been notified by The Fork this week to do so , only to be told they would not honour this as they’re Mitchell’s and Butlers and not The Fork!! So I was very disappointed to say the least!

TheForkUserThe food provided was well served and very well cooked the time between the first and second course was not what I would expect was a t least 20 minutes. The three courses were all well presented and very well cooked with the apple tart being the highlight.

TheForkUserWe always meet at The Boot Inn because the service is a delight from a mature lady with blonde hair and the food always good. That’s why we keep coming back. Thanks

TheForkUserVisited same restaurant twice recently with 2 small groups of adult students with learning disabilities/autism. We had an excellent afternoon + Daisy on our 1st trip was an excellent waitress.I booked a 2nd group of students the following week via the 'Fork' app after receiving an email offering 50% off food. It was then a real shock when already seated, I was told the discount was unavailable. I am convinced at the time of booking the App accepted the promotion code.Anyone with experience of caring for someone with Autism would know that deciding to leave the restaurant at this time was Not an option as anxiety levels would have kicked-in. So we remained, the meals were excellent + the students were happy, it was just disappointing that the bill was slightly more than they had budgeted for.Don't be put-off visiting the restaurant though, I'm sure it was just a 'blip'!
