Food was great and fairly quick, staff were friendly and efficient. Right beside the river, ideal for walking the dog before our meal and he was made welcome by the staff as well.

This pub has a great atmosphere, especially during rugby matches, and the drinks were good, making it a fun place to visit.

I really enjoyed the friendly service and the delicious food at this pub. It&#39;s a great spot to celebrate with friends and family, and the atmosphere makes you want to stay longer.

The food was excellent and service very good. We were seated next to a group of five who were swearing and being annoying. We discreetly asked to be moved and this was accommodated without fuss. Felt sorry for the waitress who had to continue serving such rude people.

Went in just after 0900 Saturday morning for breakfast. We both had large full fried English breakfast in under 5 minutes food was fresh well cooked and was excellent and then the price at &pound;6 a head with mug of tea. The shy horse is a lovely family pub, the staff are so good with children and service is great. A little expensive but I would rather eat here than the star as the staff are so friendly and food is better
