TheForkUserA group of us went for the 'Rock & Roll' night. The entertainer was excellent if a bit to loud. The food was pretty good. the prawn cocktail sauce was rather watery but the prawns were fine. The serving of pate was very generous but the bread was like concrete. I think it had started life as a sourdough baguette, been re-warmed then allowed to go cold.We were very pleased with the main course being served with separate dishes of potatoes and vegetables so you could choose what you wanted and how much.Our table all had the salmon which was lovely. The sweets were all good as well.A grand night was had by all.Carriages, Newhaven
