We haven't been to Leichhardt's Little Italy area for a few years. We do enjoyed the atmosphere. So this was our first time at Apertivo. Food was great and the young lady that served us was warm, friendly and fun. Only problem was that we didn't have room for dessert! Also noticed that they had a little covered play area for under 3 year olds.

Came here for a casual dinner, the vibe was lively and fun. The mussels and calamari were the real stars of the show. Everything else was just okay, but those two dishes were done really well.

The food at The Living Room was exceptional, especially the housemade gelato for dessert. The staff were professional and attentive, ensuring a seamless dining experience with a lovely ambiance.

I had a fantastic experience with the service here; the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our visit even more enjoyable.

No. 3 of Local Restaurants in The Rocks

The butter chicken was absolutely delicious as was the garlic naan and house red! Portions were more than sufficient and thoroughly enjoyable. All the staff were very welcoming and pleasant, service was fast and efficient, tables were set nicely and restaurant was inviting. I had booked for an early dinner as was on the way home from an afternoon theatre performance so was the first person to arrive but, as I finished, I noticed that Thar was filling very quickly indeed and I left with the impression I had discovered a local gem! I’ll definitely be back for another visit
