The lemon and blueberry scones were delicious, and the staff were friendly and efficient. A perfect place for a tea break!

I highly recommend this place for breakfast! The selection is wide, and everything I tried was delicious, especially the gluten-free options.

Scottish breakfast with polenta instead of potatoes. Top quality ingredients, cooked just right.

Been coming here for years after walks on the Meadows. Good spot to rest, but they only let dogs sit outside. Shame, as it's a bit of a faff with the lead.

Booked for afternoon tea and they were really good about my friend's allergies. The staff checked everything carefully. Made it a relaxed visit.

Found this little spot wandering around the Grassmarket. The scrambled eggs were so creamy and perfect, honestly the best I've had in ages. The café allongé was a proper strong kick too. Just a really nice, relaxed vibe for a late breakfast.

The vibe is so chilled. Came for the vegan menu and ended up loving the chargrilled seitan with polenta chips. Just a really nice, easy spot to unwind.

Got here at 9am, table for five in under five minutes. The Scottish breakfast was spot on. Sausages were proper. Coffee kept coming.

Loved the vibe here for a quiet breakfast. The Belgian waffles with poached eggs and bacon were spot on. The pastry display is a real highlight though, so many tempting choices like the Basque cheesecake.

First time here and the veggie burger was a total win. The patty was so flavourful and not dry at all. Chocolate cheesecake was the perfect follow-up. Really friendly vibe from the staff too.

Lovely little spot, feels like a cosy kitchen. The chicken sandwich was spot on - juicy, the bread toasted just right. My oat milk flat white was smooth, not bitter at all. You can tell they think about the little things.

I had a lovely experience with the friendly staff and the delicious vegan pie selection. The mushroom pie was particularly scrumptious!

Came here twice during my Edinburgh trip. The vegan full Scottish breakfast is the best I've had in the city. Coffee and pastries were solid too. Location is a bit out of the way, but worth it for the food.

Good spot for a quick coffee and a sandwich. The outdoor seating is ideal if you have a dog with you. Service was prompt, which I appreciate when I'm on a short break. Coffee was decent, nothing fancy.

Been coming here for years, and their gluten-free cakes are consistently good. The staff always knows what's safe to eat, which is a relief.

Simple homemade food, decent selection of drinks. The space is nice, quite welcoming. Good spot for a quick, no-fuss meal. Prices are reasonable for the area.

This cafe has a cozy vibe and serves the smoothest coffee I've ever had! Perfect for a relaxing morning.

A really nice spot. The beetroot chai latte was lovely, and the staff were so pleasant. The chairs were quite comfy, which made it easy to relax for a while.

The Eggs Royale was spot on, with the eggs just runny enough. The whole place had a really relaxed, airy feel to it. Sat by the window and it was just a nice, calm spot for a late breakfast.

Been coming here for years. They open at 7, so I can pop in after my morning walk. Food's always fresh, straight from the kitchen to your table. Simple, but it gets the day going right.

The coffee was strong, which I liked. But I really came for the peanut butter slice. You can tell it's homemade, not too sweet. The texture was just right. A nice treat with my morning coffee.

Great spot for a quick bite. Right on Princes Street, easy to find. Had the fish and chips. Decent portion, crispy batter. Good for refuelling mid-sightseeing.

The sourdough baguettes here are just incredible. That perfect crackle of the crust, the soft, tangy inside... I could eat it all day. Honestly, it's the main reason I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years, and I always grab a couple of their vegan haggis packs to go. It’s the one thing I know will be just right for a quick, proper dinner at home.

Huge portions. Honestly, the quality for the price is just right. Came for brunch, left absolutely stuffed. Won't need lunch.

Always packed, so you know it's good. Their breakfast plates are solid and won't break the bank.

Loved the Turkish eggs and portobello smash here, both were so fresh and flavourful. The menu's got a good range, which is great when you're with a group and someone's gluten-free. Made picking a spot for brunch easy!
