Been coming here for a while now. The kitchen keeps putting out stuff that’s way more interesting than the usual regional menus around town. Ingredients always feel fresh, and the wine list is solid without being a rip-off. Place doesn’t look like much from outside, but that’s part of the charm, I guess.

The roast pork with mustard sauce was so good, and the spätzle hit the spot. Baked potato with sour cream was a nice surprise too. Portions were solid for the price. Would come back with friends for sure 🙂

The Sachertorte with whipped cream was really good, and they have a nice selection of cakes. The seating area felt a bit cramped though, especially near the window.

Stopped by for fries after an appointment. Well-seasoned, though I wished they were crispier. Staff were friendly, and the rustic outdoor seating was a nice touch.

The Gröstl was solid, and that pulled pork with baked potato really hit the spot. Sat outside on the terrace—nice for people-watching while you eat.

Came for coffee and cake, left pretty happy. Cappuccino was solid, and the cakes actually looked as good as they tasted. Portion size was decent for the price, which isn't always the case around here. Service was friendly enough, no complaints. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Been here a few times now, food's always solid. The plating looks great and the staff are friendly. Good lunch spot, just gets a bit loud when it's busy.

Shared pizza, pasta, beer and wine for €20 for two. Decent deal honestly. Staff were friendly enough. Food was good, nothing crazy but fine.

The baked sushi here is solid. Probably one of the better Asian spots in the area. Quality stays consistent every time I go.

Solid pizza and quick service. The place sits right in the center, so it gets busy, but the staff kept things moving. Street parking right out front was a nice surprise. Dough had a good chew, sauce was a bit sweet for me, but overall a decent stop if you're nearby.

Came here with a couple of friends on a rainy evening. The Käsespätzle was exactly what I needed—cheesy, comforting, super hearty. Service was nice, but it got pretty busy later and we waited a bit for the bill. Still, cozy vibe and good food for a chill hangout 😊

Service was spot on and the food quality matched the price tag. Outdoor seating's a nice touch too. Their wine list deserves a look if you're into pairing.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Owner came over for a chat, nice personal touch. Lamb skewers were spot on, juicy and well seasoned. Place was busy but food came out fast enough. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something decent without the fuss.

The Maultaschen were solid, pasta was good too. Place looked a bit understaffed but we still got our food fast. Nice spot for a casual dinner.

Came here on a whim and honestly, it hit the spot. The grilled octopus was tender, not rubbery like you get in a lot of places. I had a glass of their house Assyrtiko with it, which worked really well. Service was relaxed and friendly. Only minor thing, the bread basket took a while to arrive. But the meal itself was solid.

The upper lounge is really cozy—we ended up staying way longer than planned. Food was creative and well-made, especially for such a small kitchen.

The owner still remembers my usual order after three years of coming in on my days off. That says a lot. I had the tagliatelle with ragù this time and it hit the spot. They suggested a nice Barolo that paired well without being too heavy. Place is a bit cramped but the food keeps me coming back.

The Käsespätzle were properly cheesy and the apricot cake was a nice finish. Got pretty busy while we were there, but service kept up fine. Solid spot for a relaxed meal.

Been coming here for a few seasons now. Location can't be beat for ski breaks, and the food stays consistent. Service gets a bit rushed when it's packed, but that's expected. Prices are fair for the area.

We sat outside on the terrace and the mountain view was honestly the best part. I got the schnitzel and it was crispy, exactly how I like it. Portion was big enough that I couldn't finish. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Just a chill place to hang out for a couple hours.

The owner runs the whole show herself—definitely adds a personal touch. Traditional Swiss dishes done right, though it was a bit busy when we went. Pretty good spot.

We’ve been coming here for years and the chicken curry is still my go-to. The meat is always tender, and the sauce tastes fresh, not heavy. I appreciate that they don’t overload it with oil. Lamb curry was good too, though slightly smaller than I remembered. Service stays friendly, which keeps us coming back.

Stayed here for a couple nights and honestly the location is the main selling point. Right in the middle of Holzgau but still quiet at night. Room was fine, nothing fancy, but that mountain view from the window was nice to wake up to. The activity card that came with the stay covered the local bus and gondola, which saved us some money. For what we paid, I thought it was fair. Just don't expect luxury.

Stumbled in here during our Center Parcs stay and honestly so glad we did. The Allgäu schnitzel had this really crispy breading, exactly what I needed after a rainy day. Duck on Sunday was solid too. Cozy inside, service was quick. Just a heads up, it gets busy so maybe book ahead.

The calzone was seriously good, probably the best I’ve had in a while. Prices are fair too. Decor’s a bit old-school, but honestly didn’t care. 😄

The croissants were properly flaky, buttery, not those sad dry ones you get at chain places. You can tell someone in the kitchen actually cares about the lamination. I grabbed one to go with my coffee and it held up well, didn't crumble everywhere. Would come back just for that.

We stumbled in here after a walk and it was pretty busy even late. The onion roast beef was the move — tender, rich sauce, exactly what I needed. Also tried the Schlutzkrapfen, decent little pockets. Service kept it professional without hovering. Bill felt fair for what we got. Just a heads up, it’s tucked behind the hotel, easy to miss.

The tuna steak was cooked just right, and the salad tasted fresh. Sunset view from the table is hard to beat. Service was a bit slow though, had to wait a while for the bill. But the food made up for it. Nice place if you're not in a hurry.
