Despite the busy atmosphere, the food came out quickly and was freshly cooked. I was impressed with how well the dining area was maintained.

Great night out for a family dinner while holidaying in Sydney. Turned up for the $15 Chicken schnitzel night and was very impressed. The hotel is situated in a nice area on the northern beaches, opposite Narrabeen Beach. They also offer accommodation. Would definitely visit again.

The restaurant was great, food was very tasty, with adequate portions and a good variety. Prices were also reasonable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend it and will go back again.

The bread rolls are baked fresh here, you can smell them. Satay chicken and lemongrass pork were both good, but the rolls themselves really stood out.

The butter chicken was absolutely delicious as was the garlic naan and house red! Portions were more than sufficient and thoroughly enjoyable. All the staff were very welcoming and pleasant, service was fast and efficient, tables were set nicely and restaurant was inviting. I had booked for an early dinner as was on the way home from an afternoon theatre performance so was the first person to arrive but, as I finished, I noticed that Thar was filling very quickly indeed and I left with the impression I had discovered a local gem! I&rsquo;ll definitely be back for another visit

Caught the live Irish music on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was so lively and fun, it really added to the whole experience. A nice way to unwind.

Tried the beef burger with bacon and avocado. Bun had a unique, tasty flavour. Got it to go, ready in under 5 mins. Perfect for a quick bite.

Had a sunny table outside, the 80s tunes were a nice touch. Owner was super chill about tweaking the dish for my friend&rsquo;s dietary thing, no stress at all. Just a really easy, relaxed lunch.

Been coming here almost daily for their coffee. It&#39;s super smooth, really hits the spot. Price is a bit steep for a daily habit, but it&#39;s that good.

The grilled pork rice was so flavourful! Portions are huge, perfect for sharing with a mate. We were stuffed but still kept picking at it. 😄

It was a lovely atmosphere with polite, respectful and helpful service. The prices were not out of this world (given cost-of-living pressures driven by Labor&#39;s Green Energy Dream ... more &#39;a Mirage&#39;) and, even better, the food was scrumptious including delicious Naan bread.

We hosted a large family event at this venue last night. The staff were lovely and provided us with professional, prompt and friendly service throughout the whole night. The food and drinks were very easy to order and were of great quality. I would highly recommend the ribs, lamb shank and barramundi. Having a pub bar on hand meant there was a large selection of drinks at an affordable price. A local gem.

The dark wood and classical music set a great mood. Their wine list had some nice local options that paired well with the view of the maple trees outside.

Cosy spot on a cold morning. Grabbed a coffee and sat outside. They provide blankets, which is a nice touch. The coffee was good, strong and hot. A solid local spot for a quiet start to the day.

The service at Ploos is exceptional, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. The cocktails are also a highlight, adding to the overall enjoyment.

Been coming here for years, and it&#39;s always packed. I try to get in right when they open to skip the line. The food&#39;s as good as ever, but yeah, you gotta time it right.

The wagyu intercostal here is the real deal. So tender and flavourful, and you can tell the meat is really well-marinated. It&rsquo;s what keeps me coming back to this spot for KBBQ.
