TheForkUserVery friendly staff and our reserved table was in a prime location, right on the river. The wine menu was interesting and both reds we tried were tasty, if very different to each other! Two of our kids enjoyed the breaded chicken and chips/rice, one rated the black Angus beef burger and the other the grilled sea bass. Grown ups enjoyed the scallops starter, which had an fab foam, and the mackerel samosa, the chicken and shrimp curry was tasty. Three of us had the black angus steak, all ordered to be cooked medium. The colour varied a little but sadly the quality varied a lot. One of the steaks was delicious, not a single chewy mouthful. The other two unfortunately were very tough to eat. The chips, salads and sauces that accompanied the steaks were delicious. A nice touch of pickled red onions making the token salad on the plate something worth eating.

TheForkUserA fabulous seafood restaurant with fresh produce and lovely staff. We had crab, octopus salad, prawns and pork and clams. All were delicious! Fresh and well presented. Casual and friendly and great value for money. Oh, and the sangria was great and a good wine selection. Such a lovely lunch and our guests were impressed!

TheForkUserWe have been coming to Paraiso’s for the last 6 years and love everything about it. The food and service is exquisite and Lena and her team cannot do enough for her guests. I highly recommend the steak on the stone with peppercorn sauce, the turkey and mushroom dish and you really must try one of Lena’s homemade desserts- cheescake, banoffee pie or the tiramisu! All are simply divine!

Also has a great outdoor space, will return for lunch to enjoy dining outdoors.Food is well prepared with their own unique recipes for the traditional pork cheeks and clams w/ pork dishes we had. French fries were perfectly crunchy and delicious. Prices are a bit higher than similar places, but the atmosphere is worth it.

The chicken teriyaki is a winner along with the gyozas. we also has the beef strips, octopus and apple pie which was made with filo pasty - yum!. i was looking forward to having the clams but unfortunately they had finished by the time we dined at 9pm. The service was attentive, decor and ambience of the restaurant was pleasant. Would highly recommend and advise that you book to ensure you get a table.

TheForkUserYou'd never know it from outside but this is a really cozy spot with great quality pizza. The owner was a real character and took time to walk us through some of his favourite menu items. We split 3 pizzas and one of their amazing thin crust garlic breads for a family of 4. I don't remember the name, but the white pizza with seasonal figs had a beautiful blend of flavours (we took a 2nd to go for a quick beach snack the next day). The draft beer was cold and the atmosphere was just right... albeit in a small footprint. Make sure to reserve a table during peak season!

TheForkUserThis place is truly what is meant by a hidden gem. The care and attention to detail is spectacular. They use the best quality ingredients and it shows. They are proud of what they serve and rightly so. We went 2 nights in a row when we found it. Would have been 3 had we not been leaving. So much choice on menu so would find it hard to make a recommendation, you can’t go wrong whatever you choose. Oh and have to say from the young man serving to the effusive front of house, service is natural and welcoming. Thank you for having us.

They also have a kids menu which is wonderful. The service was great and they went above and beyond our expectations. I recommend the seafood paella for 2 people. It was the best we have had! The desserts were delicious and lots of options to choose from.

The octopus was wonderful in a salad starter and a spectacular fettuccine. The wine was excellent. The two guys running the place were fantastic and efficient and friendly. A real find.

TheForkUserWith reading low reviews we were not expecting anything special . We dinned in this restaurant a few years ago and our remembrance was good. On this visit the food was OK and service at first was very good. This all went down hill when receiving the bill so many mistakes . It was not corrected correctly. So we worked out what it should of been and left the correct payment. This also included fork discount. I recommend you check your bill before making payment. Not a great experience so will not re visit.

We had a lovely window table, water offered as we sat down, and service at all stages was excellent. A nice level of knowledgable advice and chat from all staff who served us. I chose tagliatelle dish which I had had before, one friend chose the same the other had fillet steak. All were delicious, washed down with a glass each of house wine, which we were informed was from Tavira, even the location of the vineyard! Then two of us shared a very chocolatey dessert. The bill was pleasingly modest for the quality of the food and service. Highly recommended for a slightly special occasion.
