TheForkUserThis is the restaurant of the Ozida hotel in Tavira. Our table was on the covered terrace, with view of the beautiful outdoor pool and curated garden. It was an oasis of peace. Service was attentive and professional, by both waiters who took care of us, I really enjoyed chatting with Jonathan after the meal. Food was good and fresh, up to my expectations, the seafood fresh and cooked to my taste. I loved the sweet potato cake with fig ice cream, it was really delicious.I stayed in the afternoon and enjoyed a nice cocktail. We will definitely come back.

Just wish there was a bit more cheese in the risotto but the rest was perfect.For desert we got the Pudim de Leite which was soooo good.Definitely recommend

Johnny provided great entertainment and was followed by a very popular pop quiz.We had a really enjoyable evening in this great venue.

TheForkUserWe thought to try this restaurant Tasca da Cascata, and I don't like to write a bad review but prefer to mention this to the owner(s) personally but as this restaurant belongs to the hotel Ondamar this would be difficult to reach the owner(s) and hopefully they would read this too.. Our table was very sticky. There was not much on the menu (and different from the menu on Fork), and a few things on the menu were not available anyway.The two ladies working there were nice and tried their best.Its location is nice though overlooking the mini golf, But, it is more like a snackbar for the minigolf.No, we will not go back there again!!!

The restaurant was a bit concerningly quiet when we arrived, but I think they had just opened for the evening, and others arrived shortly after us, giving the place a bit of a better atmosphere. Their specialty, the piglet, was good. Some of the other dishes on the menu could probably do with a better English translation, as some were not clear, and others downright amusing! (Roasted Tits anyone?)

TheForkUserThis is a superb traditional Portuguese restaurant. The surroundings are quaint. The staff are absolutely brilliant. Very friendly, happy to explain the menu and eager to make your evening a good experience. The food is reasonably priced and the meat is tender, juicy and beautifully cooked to order. I would be very happy to go back and very happy to recommend this restaurant.

TheForkUserWe had a 3pm reservation, got there early but no problem because there was no one else in there! We did think about walking past but didn’t!So pleased we didn’t because the whole meal was fantastic, the waiter was also lovely. We will certainly be going back again but in the evening. Could have done with background music playing because it was so quiet but fortunately my hubby and I never stop talking so there wasn’t an awkward silence!
