An exceptional experience overall! The food was top-notch, and the service impeccable. The intimate atmosphere made it a perfect spot for a special occasion.

Excellent and authentic osteria in the Piacenza Apennines: among the starters, the highlights are the light and freshly fried torta fritta, served warm in parchment paper to accompany local cured meats and cold cuts, and the outstanding Gutturnio reduction and pear mustard that perfectly complement the cheeses. The traditional Piacenza-style first and second courses are prepared with simplicity and served in very generous portions.Among the desserts, don&rsquo;t miss the Torta delle Rose with mascarpone cream&mdash;simply delightful.The service is friendly and efficient, the premises are impeccably clean and welcoming, and the view of the Arda Valley is breathtaking.Note: next to the main dining room, there is a smaller, more private room with a fireplace and a cozy atmosphere.We will definitely be back!Marco.&rdquo;

A fabulous little eatery in the centre of Langhirano, a small town famous for its world-class prosciutto.  This is first and foremost a high-quality shop selling the cold cuts and Parmesan cheese this region is celebrated for.  And they&#39;ve set up a small number of tables in a welcoming space where one can savour their specialities along with excellent local beer and wines.  Not touristy at all, warm and competent staff, and good prices.  I&#39;ll be back!

Exactly what we hoped for. We know this area and Italy very well. We know the bar in Emilia for food is high. This beat it. This was so so nice. Eating outside beside the vines. Great hosts. Very cheap by today&#39;s standards. A perfect evening. Find it and book.
