We enjoyed a wonderful birthday meal at the Harvester in Stanway, Colchester, Essex. The effort and willingness expressed by out waitress (Laura) was worthy of high praise. This employee worked tirelessly in make the evening a huge success.Thank you,Bill

As with any Buffett type restaurant there are good and bad things. But that said you know what you&rsquo;re signing up for when you go there. So queuing for your dinner is a given. The staff were lovely, food hot and plentiful and had a money off coupon too plus earned Yums - all in all a good night.

Had a work lunch at Duke of York. I would rate this place 5/5 mainly for the exceptional  service provided by Carrie and Emily. These ladies really go over and beyond their duties to exceed brilliance in customer service. Food, starter was amazing, main Shepard&rsquo;s lamb pie, I didn&rsquo;t enjoy. brownie dessert was good.

The food was exceptional, especially the main courses. I opted for chicken and my wife had sea bream - both were delicious and so well cooked. Garlic potatoes as a side dish is a must.All the staff were very attentive and professional

A brilliant selection of vegetables  for a vegetarian plus the Yorkshire pudding  made a really tasty meal,  extra wonderful with the onions and sweetcorn.                   The  turkey was delicious for the meat eater.

I had a wonderful meal at Toby Carvery, where the service was exceptional. Our waitress, Lisa, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, making the evening truly enjoyable.

Such a shame this venue is changing hands.The food was absolutely delicious a real treat, the young person who looked after us was friendly and gave us a very pleasant lunch time

This restaurant offers an excellent venue with superb food, service, and ambiance. The gluten-free options are a great addition, making it a standout choice among similar establishments.

I had a lovely meal with generous portions and a friendly atmosphere. The staff were attentive, making the experience enjoyable.

I have visited Toby Carvery during the week, but Sundays is just that bit better.  Usually, it gets really full.   It is best to book your table then one can relax.
